[Time Skip To October]
I put more weight on my foot as I pushed it so it caused the longboard to go slightly faster. I bobbed my head slightly to the music blasting through my headphones.
Everybody gets high, everybody gets low....
Life can be such overdose.
Up on the mountain I see down below, it's easy to lose yourself I know.... Can't hear what your shouting I'm deaf to your show.
It's easy to lose your self control.
In the in between.I smirked at the familiar Beartooth song and continued my usual path to school. Once I got there, I kicked up my board and picked it up in my hands. I did I simple head nod to the lady that likes to kick me off my board and continued to my locker. I turned into the C wing and walked to my locker. I put in my combination for the maroon colored locker and opened it.
Everything went into play as glitter and a piece of paper fell from the locker. I sunk my head in shame as I heard Brandon and Sterling burst out in laughter and came up from behind me.
"YOU LOOK LIKE A BEAUTIFUL UNICORN!!!" Sterling laughed, helping me brush some extra glitter off of me. I bent down and picked up the yellow piece of paper and started to unfold it.
"A paper?" Brandon inquired, looking at the paper.
"I wonder what it says?" Sterling wondered, reaching to grab the paper from my hands as I pulled them away quickly.
"You should know you wrote it."I playfully scolded."I honest to dear god I didn't." Sterling said, raising his hands and slightly backing up in the process. I raised an eyebrow and looked at Brandon. He did the same thing and I scrunched my eyebrows together as I unfolded the paper.
After School, meet me on the football field
-C.SI made a weird face and looked at the front and back of the paper. This must've been placed in my locker before the glitter bomb.
"Who has the initials C S?" I asked, looking up at the two boys. The two boys shared a look of shock and exchanged looks between each other. As Brandon opened his mouth, the bell rang, signaling that it was time to go to class.
The two boys quickly ran off to their classes and left me. I shut my locker, still partly covered in glitter and walked down the hall to my health class.+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
I walked to lunch after Integrade and stood in the very long line before someone bumped me. I glanced back and saw a glimpse of long curly-ish hair quickly walk away. I just shook my head and placed my headphone back into my ear.
After grabbing my Lunch, I saw Brandon and Sterling having somewhat of a serious talk between them and I walked up to them, causing them to stop talking and change the subject.
"Outside we shall go!" Brandon declared, leading me and Sterling to our usual spot. This spot is just next to the front of the school, except we had a janitor move a table over under a tree so we didn't have to sit in the sun all the time. So it was a pretty peaceful spot, considering its school.
Anyways, I sat on the corner of the table, taking the lid off of the fruit parfait which isn't very good if it has peaches, but with blueberries is a different story.
"Sterling?" I asked," when's your next home game?"
"Next Tuesday, I'm assuming your gonna be there?" He smirked, his dimples, showing slightly.
"Hell yeah!" I said, laughing and taking a spoonful of blueberries in my mouth.
Everything was pretty normal until the dude who bumped me earlier started to walk towards the table.
"Sterling, sit next to Kris."Brandon said, standing up. Sterling immediately got up next to me and crossed his legs also.
"What do you want Carter?" Brandon muttered, crossing his arms and standing in front of Carter.
"Just want to talk." Carter, the guy, said. His voice surprised me, it wasn't deep, but it wasn't high pitched either. Sterling stiffened up and clenched his fists. I quickly put my hand on his and he slightly calmed, but I could feel he was still tense.
"To who?" Sterling spoke, venom almost dripping in his voice. To be honest, I would've freaked out if I hadn't known Sterling like I do.
"Her." The Carter guy simply said. My eyes widened slightly, why me?
Everything was silent before the Carter dude stepped to the left of Brandon and tried together closer to me.
Brandon AND Sterling both got in front of him, as if protecting me.
"What are you gonna do?" Carter said. I swear you could almost hear the smirk in his voice.
"Are you gonna hit me?" His voice taunted. I saw him turn to Sterling.
"Or are you gonna just stare at me?"He narrowed his eyes, looking at the soccer player in front of him. Brandon shoved Carter away and that's when things got... Difficult.
As Carter got pushed, he stumbled back a little and made that laughing noise when you know your in trouble. That's when he swung at Brandon. I shot up from my spot and started yelling. That really didn't do much since all three boys were yelling also. I stepped down from the table and went to stop the fight, but Sterling pushed me back.
"I don't want you getting hurt." He said in a caring voice.
"As if." I muttered, trying to force my way past him. He gave up and eventually picked me up, throwing me over his shoulder. Now there's no point in doing anything.
After about 10 minutes, Sterling quickly set me down. Just before I went to question it, there were two police officers holding Brandon and Carter away from each other.
The principal, marched up to Sterling and I.
"My office.... Now." He muttered, motioning for us to follow him. I started following him. The worst part was that the cops, Brandon, AND Carter were following behind us. As we entered the school again, everything got deadly quiet. I felt my anxiety kick in, but I quickly turned my head away and tried to ignore everyone in the lunchroom starting at us.
