"Okay, Sterling!!" Linda yelled,"we're leaving!""Okay," Sterling yelled back from outside. We, currently, we're trying to switch the back porch lights to an orange bulb.
The sound of the door shutting and the car starting in the driveway signaled us the coast was clear of parents.
"Carter said he was bringing the puff puff shit." Sterling laughed, climbing down from the ladder he used to reach the porch light.
"Weed?" I asked, not sure if he meant cigarettes or weed.
"Yeah, duh." Sterlings retorted, leading me into the house. The doorbell rang and Sterling raced me to the door.
I slammed into the door and laughed as I opened it.
"Am I interrupting?" Carters voice laughed.
"Actually yes." I sarcastically drawled," Sterling and I were busy beating each other up"Sterling chuckled and invited Carter in, shutting the door after him.
"Alright." Sterling said," I smell weed."Carter shook his head, a smirk resting on his lips. I have to admit, Carter was pretty attractive. I mean, what?
"Who else is showing up?" Carter asked, pulling out the weed from his jacket pocket.
"I invited like 10 other people. Brandon invited 3." Sterling said," then there's us. So that's about 16 people."
Carter nodded,"Who did Brandon invite?"
"Uhm. Christian, Thomas, and.." Sterling paused," I think Kaden."
Carter nodded slowly.

I was sitting on the counter, my legs swinging slightly.
Music was playing, not too loud. Sterling found a fog machine do most of the floor was covered with fog. I saw attractive guys pass me, a few girls had shown up to the party, but I was the only non-blonde one.
"Well." One guy came up to me," you seem pretty happy."
I smiled a little bit, he was really cute.
"I'm just checking out some cute guys." I said honestly.
"Oh?" He smirked, I felt something rise in my stomach,"Tell me who you're checking out, maybe I'll hook you guys up.""I'll never tell you." I teased.
"Christian." Another girl said, walking up behind the boy speaking to me.She must've just shown up. I hadn't seen her wandering around this house before. She wore a flannel with a pierce the veil tank top under it. Her jeans were ripped and she wore combat boots. Her hair was brown, mostly. The ends were black and the tips of her bangs were a faded green color.
"Oh." She smiled," Hi, I'm Lily. This is Christian."
She gestured to the boy who was just talking to me. He wore a black suicide silence hoodie. His hair was brown and was past his chin by a few centimeters. His jeans were blue and he had on some black converse."Hey babe." He said, slinging his arm around her shoulders." I was just helping this Freshy hook up with some guys."
"Who were you eyeing?" Lily said," I know everyone here. I am a junior after all."
How did he know I was a freshman?
"Well." I said, eyeing the ground for a moment," There was this one guy walking around. He had a nice shirt on, and I think his hair was purple at the front."
Christian smirked again,"I think she's talking about Kaden."
Lily laughed a little," What's your name?"
"Me?"I asked, pointing to myself. Lily nodded,"I'm Kristy."
"Well, Kristy," Lily began," You were eyeing one of our very good friends."
"Oh shit." I stuttered out,"I didn't know--""It's perfectly fine." She winked," He's got a thing for girls like you anyways."
"I'll get him if you want." Christian teased.
Pretending that I was cool, I replied with,"Fucking do it."
The smile on Christians face grew as he removed his arm from Lily's shoulders.
"I'll be right back then." He said.
"By the way." Lily said after Christian Left,"Kaden is a good kisser. I only know because truth or dare is a bitch."
She winked after saying that.Christian returned with the boy I had described to him.
Christian pulled Lily away for a moment. They were still in the kitchen, just at a different part.
I looked back at the Kaden guy and smiled shyly.
"So I heard that you think I'm attractive." He flirtatiously smirked. He rested his hand on my knee.Kaden drew dangerously close to my ear and whispered,"You should come back to my place."
Sterling quickly shoved Kaden back.
"You watch it." He growled.Lily and Christian came back, Lily stood in the middle of the two boys. Christian was off to the side.
"Alright you two." She hissed," Calm down.""You tell your fuck boy to back off of Kris!" Sterling began to yell, he stepped forward.
Kaden only smirked,"Kristy didn't seem to be stopping me."
He winked at me and I looked down at the ground again.
I heard Christian snicker quietly.
"You shut it." Sterling hissed, turning his full attention towards Christian."Alright boys." Lily sighed," you're ruining my high. Either take this outside or just walk away."
Kaden and Sterling glared at eachother before stomping off in opposite directions.
"You seem pretty cool Kris." Lily said,"I'll see you around Creek."Her and Christian walked out of the kitchen. This is turning out to be one hell of a night.

Sterlings parents came home, they had arrived in a taxi and when they stumbled into the house, Sterling and I knew they were hammered.
Movie and dinner my ass
Sterling chuckled and called Carter.
"Hey dude I need you to come take Kris home. You're the only one that drives out of us all." Sterling started.Sterling was quiet for a moment.
"Alright, see you in a few." Sterling ended the call. When Carter arrived at the house, Sterling walked me out to his truck. I hugged Sterling and told him I'd see him on Monday.
I hopped into Carters truck and we drove off.
"You're gonna want to turn here." I said pointing slightly at the street we were coming up on.Carter drove past it.
"We need to talk."
