Chapter 16

Zoie's POV

It's been a month since I saw Nerf! The last time I saw him was when we came from the hospital back to my house and I fell asleep. After that he never texted or called. Nor did I because I thought I was annoying.  Half of my Summer is almost done which sucks because I will have to go back to where I live and these past weeks were amazing except the one's without seeing Nerf. I even went to the park a couple of times and he wasn't there. Maybe I should text him to see what's up. I grab my phone and gulp reall hard and started typing.

Me: Hey Nerf... :)

Nerf's POV

I was sitting in David's house ( a new friend I made) and we were smoking with a couple of reall hot girls. That's when I felt my phone buzz. I looked and it had a unknown number.

9388839829 ( Made up .-.): Hey Nerf... :)

Me: who the hell is this?

9388839829: um its Zoie...

My eyes got wide to that text message. I turned off my phone and placed it back in my pocket. I am done with Zoie. After that accident with her head I rememeber I went to confront Cookie and that day was the day I met David...

*FLASHBACK*

I was walking down the road away from Cookie wanting to go back to Zoie's house until a guy bumped into me.

"Sorry bro." I said

" Aw shit it's cool. You live 'round here?" He asked

" Yeah I live in that white house there. How 'bout you?"

" I just moved here. Well I have to move in with my sister because my parents are pretty much done with me since I did a lot to ruin their lives." e chuckled.

" Oh yeah? And whats that?" 

" Well lets just say I partied a lot and did a lot of drugs. Do you smoke?" He asked while pulling out some paper.

" Yeah.." 

" Wanna go smoke a blunt?" He asks rolling the paper 

" Sure," I said.

We both walked to his sister's house since she wasn't home and got to stay there and smoke a lot. I've never been that high. We started doing stupid shit and that moment I started to forget a little about Zoie and relized I was stressing out too much.

" We should have a party bro," David says leaned back on the couch

" Lets do it!" I yelled out. As he called everyone to come over we talked more.

" So Nerf... You got a girl?" He asked

" Yeah. Her name's Zoie." I smiled for a moment.

"  Tell me more about her."

I told him everything we been through half the Summer. He had this look saying are-you-seriouse.

" Bro... Sounds like you're whiped. "

" What do you mean?" I ask

" I mean like she's holding you down from all the fun from what it sounds like. And that Cookie you talked 'bout sounds hot and fun as a matter of fact!"

" You think?" I asked

" C'mon. No guy wants to just stay with one girl! And honestly the relationship you guys got going on sounds hella boring! I got a million on friends that are girls and they're coming tonight so I want you to meet them." 

Was he right , I thought. Maybe it's better that me and Zoie ended. That night I met this one girl named Hannah. She was really hot and well we... Did it. Me and Hannah were dating ever since that night but she flirts a lot with other guys and I don't like that but she always knows how to make up. After that night, I deleted Zoie's phone number, never went to the park again, and gave up on skateboarding because it reminded me of Zoie. I don't know why I didn't break up with her first.... Maybe she gets the point since we never talked. Hopefully she does.
