Chunin Exams pt 11

~Tsuki's POV~

'Sasuke, what's wrong?' I asked, activating my sharingan. 'I don't know, I can't move my body.' The clones started to slowly take steps towards us while telling us to surrender our scroll. "Man, these things are real shadow clones, but shadow clones are suppose to vanish when you give them a good whack. So what the heck are we dealing with?" Naruto said as he stood in a defensive stance with a kunai in hand. I crouched down next to Sasuke and looked at his mark. It was glowing an orange red and pulsating in way, and it looked like it was trying to spread. Naruto was getting ready to charge in and attack again but Sasuke stopped him, "No don't! It's no use! You'll only be fighting illusions. It's genjutsu alright." Sasuke panted. "But how? That cut on Kabuto's arm is real enough." Sakura said, looking at Sasuke. "He's right though, but the real enemy could be in hiding some where in the woods nearby and launching real attacks behind a smoke screen of illusions, coordinating them with the illusion, making us think that these illusions are real." Kabuto told us. "Well, where ever they are! Let's fight our way out and find them!" Naruto shouted. "Hold on Naruto, they would just be overjoyed if we just went searching around blindly in the forest while they sit back and take us out, one by one. We'd only be helping them." Kabuto halted Naruto. There was a slight pause before Kabuto continued, "I know this trick. Ninjas that use this trick are weak in taijutsu and are afraid of code hand to hand combat, according to my data. We can't do any thing besides hold our ground and fend off their attacks."

Numerous kunais flew at us, and since we didn't which were real and which aren't, we had to dodge all of them. "Okay, I've had it." Naruto said, raising his hands up, preparing to make shadow clones of himself. "No stop, that's what they want. You'll do nothing but exhaust yourself more." Kabuto stopped him. "Who care, we ain't getting anywhere just standing around and dodging like that. If we eliminate all of the illusions then who ever is throwing the kunai has nothing to hide behind, so we would be able to see where he's hiding. I'll show em, two can play at this game." Naruto grinned, making shadow clones. The many Narutos charged and took down the enemy clones, but as soon as they were destroyed they formed back. "Damn it, we have to help him." Sasuke sneered. "He's right, we've got no choice, he needs us now." Kabuto agreed, pulling out a kunai and charging in.

I created water some water clones and had them go into the fight while I stood back and threw ice shurikens at the enemy clones.

By the time the sun had rolled around, we were still fighting; exhausted, but still fighting. All of us collapse to the ground in exhaustion. Wait, let me rephrase that: our clones fought to exhaustion. There, that seems more better. Naruto had some of his clones transform into us, tricking the enemy into thinking that it's use out there when really we were sitting in the bushes.

Then, the moment that we were waiting for came: the three rain ninjas revealed themselves. The one that we had encounter moments into the test glared at Sasuke, "You. You're the one that gave me that nasty wound. It really messed me up. Guess I'll have to mess you up in return."

"Well well, now who's the cornered rat." Sasuke smirked as we revealed ourselves. "Worked like a charm Naruto." Sakura complimented. "What the heck? They're over there? How?" One of them exclaimed. "Heh, sorry but it was the only way to get you guys out of hiding." Naruto chuckled, undoing the transformation jutsu, revealing three Narutos. Then Naruto explained our little scheme. "Well, I think our little plan worked perfectly." Sasuke smirked. Naruto tried to charge at the ninjas but ended up falling to his knees. "Naruto, take a break, you've used up to much of your chakra. Don't worry, I've got them." Sasuke grinned slightly. But of course, Naruto being Naruto, wouldn't just let my brother have all the glory like that, so he lunged at them and punched one in the face, making them fall like dominoes. "After all I've done, no way am I letting you guys have all the fun." He panted.

The rain ninjas created clones before we started fighting, and Naruto charged in like the idiot he is. Sasuke was about to jump in but his mark paralyzed his body. 'My Sharingan, it seems like when ever I use it this happens.' Sasuke told me. 'Maybe you used up to much of your chakra.' To me it seems like his chakra level was the problem. Sasuke took heaving breaths as he tried to use his sharingan. 'Nii-san stop, please, just let me handle it.' I told him, placing a hand on his shoulder. 'Just let me try sis.' I bit my bottom lip and looked at him with a worried look, 'Fine, but the moment you can't then I'm taking over.'

Sasuke lasted for about a minute or so before falling onto his butt. "Sasuke!" Sakura half shouted, crouching down next to him. "The mark again. Sasuke, please stop using your sharingan." Sakura pleaded him. "Sakura, watch him, I'm going in." I told her, charging in when the three ninja emerged from the ground in front of Kabuto, getting ready to attack him. I appeared in front of Kabuto and speared them through their stomachs with ice spears. Then Naruto delivered the final blow: a wicked kick to the head, making them tumble over like dominoes. "Heh, never give your enemy an opening." He panted. "Thanks you two, you saved my neck." Kabuto smiled, sitting up.

While me and Naruto searched the Ninja's bodies' for their scroll, I heard Kabuto ask Sasuke about the mark on his neck. "Damn it, where could it be." Naruto muttered as he searched the second guy. I looked at the body and uh well I think I found it. "Uhh Naruto," I said, grabbing his attention. I pointed at the guy's crotch where a big bump was, and I'm pretty sure he can't be that big for a coward. "Tsuki, that's just nasty!" Naruto exclaimed. My eye twitched and I punched him in the head, "THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT YOU IDIOT!" I let out a huff and crossed my arms. "Maybe that's where he's keeping the scroll, you should take a look because you're a guy." I said, turning around and walking to Sasuke. "Heh, someone's a little pervy." Sasuke teased with a smirk. I glared at my brother and gave him a punch on his head as well. "You boys." I seethed through my teeth, glaring at Kabuto, "You say anything and it ain't going to be the head that I'll be hitting." Kabuto chuckled nervously and held up his hands up and backed away from me. "I got it!" Naruto grinned, waving the heaven scroll in the air. I saw Sasuke looked at Kabuto when he had his back turned to us, 'There's something about this guy.' 'You to nii-san?' There has been something weird about Kabuto, but I had just been letting it slide for a bit.

Around noon we made it to the tower, where Kabuto left us to rejoin his team. Once we entered a room, we opened out scrolls and Iruka sensei popped out of the scroll.
