A day later and Sasuke and Naruto were still out cold. Sasuke was constantly grunting and turning in his sleep which made me worry a lot. "Tsuki, I'm worried. His fever hasn't gone down one bit." Sakura said, switching the rag on Sasuke's forehead with a new one. "I know, it worried me too. But, I know he'll make it. He's my brother." I smiled as I moved some of his hair out of his face. "Sakura, get some rest, I'll watch." I told her when I saw her nodding off a few times.
About an hour and a half later she startled awake. "Something wrong?" I asked as I kept my eyes forward. "No, just a bad dream." She answered. A rustling bush got me on guard; I created some water spears and glared at the bush. Then, a little squirrel came bouncing out of the bush, munching on a but. 'Calm down kiddo, you're overly paranoid.' Suirō told me. 'I know, but I can't help it. That encounter with him has gotten me rattled up a lot more than I thought. I'm just... I'm just afraid.' 'That's no reason for you to be this paranoid. Just be prepared for the next time he comes around, or anyone for that fact. We'll beat 'em to a pulp.' I just wish it was that easy to just scrap the fear.
The squirrel looked at us before running towards us. Poor thing got scared off my Sakura who threw a kunai at it. I felt bad yet safe at the same time. "Some look out. One's half asleep and another is paranoid as hell." Some guy said. Sakura and I looked towards the source of the voice and see three sound ninjas, one of them being the one that attacked Kabuto before the exam started. "But you don't have to worry no more, we've found you. Now, wake Sasuke up, we want to fight him." The slouchy guy said. "What do you want? I know Orochimaru is pulling the strings from the shadows." Sakura asked, shocking the three ninjas. "If the snake wants him then he should fetch Sasuke himself, not send some pawns." I smirked. 'Be careful kiddo, don't bite off more than you can chew.' Suirō warned me.
"I can't just sit still after being insulted like that. First I'll kill you pinkie. To bad we have orders to bring you back alive Uchiha, so I'll just bang you up." The guy without the mask sneered. The masked guy stopped Sakun to uncover out trap. 'Damn it Sakura, you had one job.' I cursed mentally. They decided to jump over our little trap area, flying into a trap that Sakura and I had set up. Sakura smirked and cut the wire, releasing the log that came flying towards the three, but then the turned into splinters, surprising me and Sakura. 'Sound waves. You're in deep sh*t kid, our water techniques are useless against sound.' Suirō told me. "You guys need to try harder." Okay, we're goners, we are so dying.
"Leaf hurricane!" I heard Lee's voice shout as he appeared and delivered a whirlwind kick to the three sound ninjas. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but am I glad to see you." I chuckled. "Looks like you also need to try harder." Lee shot back at them when he landed in front of us. "I am the handsome devil of the Leaf Village, and my name is Rock Lee. "No offense, but what are you doing here Lee?" Sakura asked. "I will always be there when ever you are in trouble Sakura." He took the squirrel off his shoulder and let down to the ground. "But, we're your enemy." Sakura's said. 'Damn it Sakura, help is help, appreciate it. Sheesh.' I rolled my eyes. "I told you, I will protect you until I die." He reminded her.
The masked guy charged at Lee, but Lee reached down into the ground and pulled up this huge ass root to deflect him.
Lee was about to head plant the guy into ground, but Sakun was faster and managed to break the fall with a jutsu of his. Seems like he did something to the dirt to soften it up so that the impact wasn't hard. The masked guy charged at Lee and swung at him with his right arm. Lee dodged all of his attack, but some how he was losing. 'The sound waves are messing with his equilibrium, messing with his balance. Pretty much, his world is spinning. Literally spinning.' Suirō explained. Lee collapsed to his knees next to us, and blood was coming out of his ear.
The ninjas then stated to explain how they can manipulate sound and such, which confirmed what Suirō told me.
Dosu, I think that was his name, ran around Lee towards me and Sakura. I growled and pulled out a kunai. But I guess Lee still had some fight in him because he cut in front of the guy and tried to kick the guy, but he was really weakened from before so he got shoved off to the side.
Sakura threw kunais at Dosu to ward him off of Lee, but he held up his arm and the kunais bounced off. I turned my focus to the girl of the group and sent ice daggers her way, but Sakun just bounced them off with his stupid sound waves. "Damn it..." I cursed, pulling out shurikens and throwing them at the enemy, only to have that stupid Sakun blow them back at us.
When I heard Sakura gasp in pain I couldn't help but look at her. The sound girl had gotten a hold of her hair and shove her to the ground. "My my what lovely shiny hair you have," she started waving Sakura's head back and forth, "But you know what, if you spent less time shampooing and more time on your jutsus then you might not be in this fix." 'Damn it, what do I do now? I'm just as useless as Sakura right now.' I thought. "Hey Zaku, why don't you finish Sasuke off right in front of her." The girl smirked. "Not on my watch." I growled, disappearing and reappearing in front of him and upper cutting the Zaku guy.
Zaku quickly recovered and threw me back against a tree before going after Sasuke, but Sakura stopped him. What she did though surprised me a lot, I mean she loved her hair, I can't believe she cut it off. 'Suirō, replace the skin on my hand with yours.' I looked at my hand as it changed into a dark blue, scaly-rough skin. I ran at Zaku and socked him in the face, cutting his cheek where my hand connected with his face. "What the f*ck. What did you do b*tch?!" He snarled, blasting me backwards into the roots of the tree where my team and I had chosen to take refuge in.
