Forced To Leave

It's been a week since the mission. Everything was still normal, which I was thankful for.

"Tsuki, what's on your mind?" Neji asked as we sat in a field, watching the clouds. "Nothing much, just how thankful I am." I smiled back at him, leaning up and kissing his cheek. "Well, I'm thankful that I have you, and that your brother is not out for my head." He chuckled, kissing my temple. "I'm kind of worried about the mission later, I have a bad feeling." I worried as I thought about leaving for my mission later with my team. "Doesn't everyone get bad feeling before leaving on a mission?" Neji chuckled lightly. "Yeah, but just something about this one doesn't feel right."

Figures I was right. After we had gotten back from the mission, Sasuke changed drastically. He even challenged Naruto with an intent to kill him. Then, he just sat in a tree for pretty much the rest of the day. I checked up on him a few times, but he just shooed me off. Well, at least he came home for the night. But he was acting weird.

"Tsuki, forgive me." I heard Sasuke say into my ear. But before I could utter a sound, I was knocked out.

~Sasuke's POV~

I had decided, I am going to Orochimaru. And I am going to take Tsuki with me. At first I planned on leaving her here, but I can't live with out her. I need her by my side. Selfish, I know, but she will get over it. I am only helping her get stronger.

I had packed our stuff prior to knocking her out. I carried her in my arms as I made my way to gates. Of course I couldn't make it there in one peace. Sakura just had to try to stop me, but I knocked her out and placed her on the bench before picking Tsuki back up and leaving the village.

"Finally, we knew you'd make the right choice." One of the four ninjas smirked at me. "Your sister will learn to appreciate you one day for doing this." The one with four arms smirked. "I'll hang onto her for you while you undergo your transformation." Four arms said, holding out his arms. I sighed and handed Tsuki to him. They handed me a pill that was suppose to kill me temporary. I looked at Tsuki one last time before swallowing the pill and 'dying'.

~Neji's POV~

I thought today was going to be a normal day... Oh how wrong I was. I was talking with Lee and was getting ready to go see Tsuki, but then Naruto, Shikamaru, Chouji, and Kiba showed up. I helped Lee down the stairs. "Do you think you can help us bring Sasuke and Tsuki back?" Shikamaru asked me. It didn't surprise me that Sasuke ran off, but Tsuki.

All of us stood at the gates as it opened. "Oh well, at least I got five. It's time to go." Shikamaru smirked. Naruto tried to take charge, but got bashed on. "From what I heard, Sasuke ran to the enemy, so they'll probably ambush us." I told Shikamaru. "Well, this is a rescue mission so we'll be in the position of pursuit. So the enemy already has the advantage. We'll go with a single file strike formation. Kiba, you're up front, with the walks that you and Akamaru go on, you know the land like the back of your hand, and with your nose you can sniff out anything. Second in line will be yours truly: I can direct everyone behind me with silent hand signals, and since I'm so close to Kiba I can react to anything. Third will be Naruto: you are the most capable of executing quick moves to the front or back. You're the corner stone, and you have the clone jutsu. Fourth is Chouji: you might not have any speed, but your striking power is the greatest out of all of us. Kiba, Naruto, and I will sneak attack and you'll swoop in and finish them off. Finally, on the end will be Neji: you're our rear look out. I want you to use your byakugan to scan the area." Shikamaru told all of us.

Then, he pulled out a scroll and drew a little diagram, showing us which area we are responsible for. I tried to focus all of my attention into Shikamaru, but I couldn't. All I could think about was Tsuki. "Hey wait, I just now remembered. Where's Tsuki? Wouldn't she want in on it? The idiot is her brother." Naruto asked out of no where. "Tsuki went with Sasuke." Shikamaru told him. "No! There's no way! That's not Tsuki! Sasuke might be her brother, but there is no way she would go to that snake. Sasuke and her aren't the same." Naruto defended Tsuki. What Naruto said got me thinking more. 'Maybe she was forced. There's no way she would just up and leave like that, even if it is following her brother.' I thought as Shikamaru did his little speech about not liking Sasuke and such.

"Alright, as soon as we check our gear we go. Show me your weapons." I told them in a monotone voice with my arms crossed. Everyone showed me what was in their ninja pouches. "Alright, let's move out." Shikamaru commanded after we got situated.

We started walking but a voice stopped us. "Wait!" We all turned around and saw Sakura running up to us. "Are you alright?" Naruto asked her. "Lady Hokage told me everything. Sorry Sakura, but I can't take you on this mission. I know you tried, but even you couldn't convince him." Shikamaru told her. "Wait, does that mean Sasuke turned his back on you Sakura?" Naruto asked in shock. Sakura started crying when he asked her that. Sakura hung her head and asked Naruto, "Naruto, this is a once in a life time request. Just bring him home. Please bring Sasuke back to me. I did everything I could. I tried. But I couldn't stop him from leaving here. Naruto, you're the only one that can save him. It's all up to you." She sobbed. "What about Tsuki? Was she leaving with Sasuke?" I asked her, since she was there last night. "Yes, but she was knocked out. He was carrying her in his arms." She continued sobbing. 'So, she was forced.' I concluded.

Naruto promised her that we would bring him back. Stupid move on his part, there's no way in hell we'd be able to get Sasuke back, not unless we knock him dead. Even Kiba told him that he was getting in way over his head.

After all that was over, we headed out.
