Rescue and Goodbye

~Still Neji's POV~

All of us catch up with the group that had Sasuke and Tsuki. They were all sitting around and resting from the looks of it. I spot my Tsuki, passed out next to a guy with four arms. We planned a surprise attack, but they figured us out before we had the chance to put in play. All of us get trapped in an earth dome that sucked out chakra that we manage to escape some how.

Chouji stayed behind to fight the fat the guy as we continued our pursuit. 

As we were chasing after the sound ninjas, I did something that I never thought I'd do. "Naruto." I called out, getting his attention. "Bring Tsuki back. She doesn't want any of this, so please bring her back to her home." I requested of him. "You really care for her don't you Neji?" Naruto smiled at me. I remained quiet. 

"Alright, here's the plan. I'm going to transform into the fat guy in their group and try to weasel my way in, and get that container Sasuke's in. If not, then I'm going to try to get Tsuki at the least." Shikamaru told us. "You guys stay near me just in case something goes wrong. Is that clear?" He looked back at us. All of us nodded our heads.

We tailed Shikamaru. I got my hopes up as I saw them accept him and all that, but that hope was soon shattered when they figured us out. But Shikamaru managed to snag Tsuki before he got pinned to a tree with a spider web. "Neji!" He shouted, tossing me my unconscious girlfriend. I landed on the ground and jabbed a point on her body, jolting her awake. "Oh my god!" She shot up and looked around a bit before wrapping her arms around my neck. "You saved me... I thought that I was going to end up with that creepy snake and with you hating me." She sobbed lightly into my chest. I hugged her back and gave her a quick kiss before tell her to stay put and helping the others out.

"NEJI!!!" I heard Tsuki scream as I got cocooned. But I soon figured out how to escape, so I did just that.

~No one's POV~

Tsuki cried lightly as she watched everyone fight, she wanted to help me but her legs were numb and she could barely keep herself up with herself up with her arms. 'Kiddo, they gave you some kind of drug. I'm trying to eradicate it from your system, but I've never encounter this drug before so it's going to take me a while.' Suirō told her. 'I'm so useless.' Tsuki started to put herself down as she watched everyone fight. 

Naruto got pulled towards Kidōmaru, but Neji escape his cocoon prison and cut the spider web line that was attached to Naruto, freeing him. "I got cha Naruto." He told Naruto, carrying him to safety. Neji dropped down to the ground and grabbed Tsuki and carried her up to the tree branch. "As much as you want to keep that girl, I need her back." Kidōmaru smirked, shooting a thick spider web string at her, only to have Neji cut it. Neji looked at Naruto and handed Tsuki to him, "You guys go. Naruto, take care of her for me until I catch up with you guys." Tsuki opened hr mouth to protest but Neji kissed her, preventing her from talking. 

Everyone was al little shock at his bold move, but remained silent. "No arguments, go with them and help them when you recover. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. I'll catch up in no time." He told her, giving her a reassuring smile. "You better keep your word Neji, or you're going to have a lot of making up to do." She pouted, giving him a kiss. "Now go!" Neji urged them, turning back and facing Kidōmaru.

The others dashed off, and Kidōmaru shot his web at them, trying to reel them back in. Neji cut all of the web strings, but a small on snuck by him. The small one snagged Tsuki, and Kidōmaru yanked on the string, pulling Tsuki back to him. "Tsuki!" Naruto shouted, reaching out to get her back, only to be blocked my a web. "Naruto, let Neji handle it. We can't turn back. Tsuki can handle herself once she heals, don't worry." Shikamaru told Naruto as they continued forward. 

Neji grabbed Tsuki as she flew by him and cut the string. "I got you. Do you think you can stand or at least defend yourself?" He asked her as he held her. "Yeah, just set me somewhere safe." She said weakly. Neji wanted to set her down against the tree trunk and faced Kidōmaru again. "You really think you can face me while protecting your little girlfriend at the same time?" Kidōmaru laughed, shooting more web strings at Neji, only to have them cut. "Don't doubt my skills punk." Neji scoffed, getting into his battle stance. 

"Neji!" Tsuki shouted as a spider bit her and carried her back to Kidōmaru. "Quick acting paralysis venom, works the moment it enters the body." Kidōmaru smirked, grabbing Tsuki and stroking her cheek. "Now sit by and helplessly watch as I kill your boyfriend before your eyes." He chuckled, pulling out a pill. Tsuki clamped her mouth shut with all the strength she could. Tsuki relaxed a bit when she saw him put the pill in his mouth, but regretted it when he slammed his lips against hers. Tsuki tried to keep her mouth shut, but the venom took it's full effect; she couldn't move or anything, so she couldn't fight back. Kidōmaru shoved his tongue, along with the pill, into Tsuki's mouth. 

Nevi's anger rose as he watched everything. "You bastard." Neji hissed, charging at Kidōmaru. Kidōmaru laughed and dodged Neji's attack, holding a limp Tsuki in his arms. "As much as I want to keep toying with your girlfriend, she gotta go back to the others." Kidōmaru sneered, summoning a spider that took Tsuki and carried her off. Neji tried to chase after the spider, but Kidōmaru stopped him.

~After the battle Neji's POV~

I finally managed to kill the guy. He was getting on my nerves way to much. He kept taunting me but telling me what he was going to do to Tsuki once he got his grimy hands on her. I nearly lost myself a couple of times, but I managed to calm myself before I did something stupid. The fight felt like it went on for forever. At least it's all over now. He's laying there on the forest floor, dead or dying. I just wish I wasn't in the same position as him. I managed to take a few steps before collapsing. 'This is it, I'm going to die.' I thought as I felt myself fade. 'I just hope you're safe Tsuki.' I thought as I reflected on my life before I lost consciousness. 

'I love you Tsuki Uchiha.' 

~No one's POV~

Tsuki fought to keep conscious, but lost the battle. 

"Guys! Down there!" Kiba pointed down the forest ground as the spider crawled by under them. "That thing has Tsuki!" Kiba half shouted, dropping dow on top of the spider, avoiding Tsuki. Kiba quickly killed the spider and held Tsuki in his arms. Kiba rejoined the group, "Naruto, hold onto her." Kiba passed Tsuki to Naruto, who held her close. "Man, she's out like a light." Naruto said as they continued their pursuit. Kiba sighed and looked back at her, noticing a small bump in her cheek. "Naruto, I think there's something in her mouth. Fish it out." Kiba told me. Naruto looked at Tsuki then at Kiba, "No way, you do it, I ain't sticking my hand in her mouth. What if Neji comes after me?" Kiba scoffed and took Tsuki from Naruto's arm and stuck his finger in her mouth, taking out a half dissolved pill that he discarded.
