i said "come on let's go..." he said "no wait not now.. we"ll leave in the evening when it gets dark"
we were waiting for the time to pass, every second felt like being close to death, we left at 6 in the evening. i said "Arjun we're going to the hospital first" he said "ya okay" we met the same doctor again and i told her "I wanna drop the kid, because Im in 10th and I have a whole life ahead of me... this baby can ruin my life, I can't have the baby" doctor said "yeah, i agree with you point of view, come, i"ll perform the tests needed"
After 2 hours everything got over and the doctor handed me some medicines, she told "please don't miss any if these okay, take care" and she gave me a kiss on my forehead, hugged her tight and said "thanks! thanks so much!" and we left from there...
Arjun asked "you ready to do this? you ready to tell your parents that this all was a joke!"
i said "hmm... I guess im ready as I ever will be" we reached my home, but I still had my clothes bag with me, so I told Arjun to wait in the backyard. I collected my guts and rang the doorbell, Mom opened the door weeping, she screamed "NIKKI? NIKKI! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN BETA? HOW COULD U RUN AWAY LIKE THAT? i was thinking of a good excuse... then Zoya di, Sunny bhai and Papa came crying and hugging me, it was like a reunion.
when all of this stopped, i asked "what were you saying mumma? run away?" Mom said "ya, thats what you wrote in you room wall that you're pregnant" i cut my mom and said "MUMMA! WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? MUMMY ME AND PREGNANT? WHAT IS THIS? I WAS WITH MY FRIENDS, I DID NOT RUN AWAY NOR AM I PREGNANT" mom said "then whats that note in the wall?" i said"wait..."
i ran up with full speed and just open the window for a excuse, i told "MUMMA! IF YOU'LL LEAVE THE WINDOW OPEN LIKE THAT ANDY RANDOM PERSON WILL JUST ENTER AND PLAY PRANKS..." then Zoya di added "right..." mom was so happy so she asked "beta you're not pregnant? i know my daughter, i knew it, i knew that you will never break my trust" she hugged me and i hugged her back, but on the inside i was dying of guilt..
They all walked out when Sunny bhai stayed back and said "Keep informing where ever you go... we were so tensed" Papa too added "yes beta please, don't ever do this..." i said "bhaiya papa im very sorry!" papa kissed me and they left.
i locked the door.
