Mom was preparing dinner, so i told Zoya dii to come to my room, i opened the results page and i got 90+ in all the subjects, and in maths i got 97! but when i looked at science i got 94, where as i needed 95!
my eyes were full of tears, and i started crying so loudly, i was crying and speaking "didiii! what do i do now? what do i say to mumma?" she hugged me and said "dont cry... baby, mat ro" i think mom heard me cry so she dashed up and asked "kya hua? Zoya? why is she crying?" then she replied to mom "mummy jii, isko science mein 94 aaye, 95 chahiye tha na..."
mom came to me, i knew she was gonna blast real bad at me but instead she said "beta.. don't cry, so what if you got 94? it's completely alright" i was drop dead shocked, so i asked "aren't you angry?" she said "no darling im not" i smiled and hugged her, then she said "okk lemme go i need to make dinner, Zoya come and help me"
before mom left, she asked "Nikki 94 on purpose? is it because you want to be in the same school with Arjun?" i said "no mumma not at all, anyways he's in 12th, he's gonna graduate and go so does not matter if i change school or not, we are getting seperated anyways" she said "awe okay baby" and went out, Zoya said "don't cry ok" i said "i love you dii" she said "ily more" and she closed my room door and went down...
i group skyped all my 7 friends who came to the party yesterday... i told them that i wont be able to shift schools, they were really happy but sad too, but i developed a happy mood and skyped till 7.30, i told them i was busy because i had too dress up and even Arjun left the group chat
i sat down on the floor infront of my cupboard thinking what to wear? i took about 30 mins on deciding what to wear, finally i found a pair of denim 3/4 jeans and a tshirt that says "Im Being Me" i got ready and came down in the hall at 8, i was helping mom and dii, Sunny bhai and dad also came back quite soon...
By 8.30 Arjun's family came and my mom and Arjun's mom had that typical aunty types re-union "Hii Poonam" and aunty replied "OMG Hii Kirti, long time no see" giving kisses, i found that pretty disgusting... where as the dads just shaked hands
Arjun looked pretty happy, we both disscussed our marks of the finals till mom called us all for dinner on the table, and mom started the conversation by asking Arjun "so beta? where are you planning to go for uni?" Arjun said "Singapore aunty" my dad replied "wow thats nice!" Sunny bhai asked "so where will you be living?" he replied "well i'll just take a apartment on rent" and bhai said "ohk cool goodluck" he said "thankyou" and etc etc, boring talks...
