Aayesha's POV
"Ummm. ..Aayesha..." He started but I cut him off as I thought he wasn't comfortable with this topic. "No problems Aashiq, I guess you have so many confusions within yourself please clear them out "I left out a chuckle.
"Maybe you are right," he said with a small smile. " Ok then back to work ". Then we started our work. I reminded him of the meetings he had that day. Later, it was our lunch break. I went to the canteen to have my lunch with my besties.
................................................................................
Zaina was sitting in the round table at the corner where we always had lunch. Something was there in her face that I wasn't able to read. I searched for Imran but he was nowhere I roamed around and saw him with our new receptionist.
Zaina is a very friendly girl. She is a different person. Though she is modern in her attire she is somehow a typical Muslim girl just like me which made friendship between us. I and Zaina had all sorts of fun together.
It has been only around six months since I've been with Zaina but she's more than a friend to me. We share everything. She's the only person who knows me well next to Hussain. The thought of Hussain brought a smile on my lips.
Even Zaina was the only person who knew about Hussain. She has always been moral support for me. Whenever I felt low she was there to hold me. No matter what she stood for me and I stood for her.
But I've noticed Zaina from last week. She was not normal something bothered her but she didn't want to open. She always told me when anything bothered her but this time she was dumb. Neither did I want to push her I thought of giving her some time.
I went near the table and looked for Imran for one last time and still, he was chatting actually flirting with Miss. Rosy, our new receptionist. Imran was a carefree cool boy. He was very good in nature but always loved to flirt.
He always remembered me, Ranbir Kapoor, in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. He was just like him. He was handsome and good looking and was always a Shokiii. His only work was to flirt with the girls. And not to forget, girls too easily get glued to him.
Zaina and Imran were childhood friends. But they were totally different in their attitudes. The very first day I joined the office I became a friend of Zaina and then Imran. We three always have a good time.
In these six months, my life has changed a lot but only one thing remained the same. My love for Hussain. No matter what I'll never stop loving you. Unknowingly a smile crept onto my lips when I uttered his name. Even your name has an effect on me, Hussain.
Coming out of my pool of thoughts I went near Zaina. I took a seat opposite her. She was lost in her thoughts that she didn't recognize me until I made a coughing sound. "Hum. .Madam Zaina , how can I help you ?" I just bowed in front of her as gesturing her to order something.
But no I failed. She was still in her thoughts. What's bothering you Zaina ? Please say it yaar. You are freaking me out. I wanted to shout at her yet I controlled myself. I shook her shoulders and asked her what was the matter.
She just shook her head "Ah...Aayesha...umm when did you come?? I was just ..." she was mumbling something. And the next moment I saw her eyes were shifting away from my eyes but somewhere far away.
I followed her eyes and I saw where her eyes were fixed I was literally surprised. She was looking at Imran? What really she was looking at Imran?? Was she hurt seeing Imran with another girl ?!Was she ...?? No this can't be.
But I do feel so. Maybe she's in... No Aayesha don't give yourself to your stupid things. There's nothing like that. But the way Zaina was looking I could feel a pang of hurt in her eyes which I once saw in my eyes...
