Chapter 10.
▌│▌║ Dinner ║▌│▌ .
Aayesha’s POV
When we reached Zaina’s home she woke up and bid goodbye to both of us. After we had dropped Zaina in her home, Imran dropped me at my home. I went and changed into my pair of night pajama and top and took my prayer mat. I laid it down and sat to make my night prayers. After my prayers, I went to my bed and in no time I fell asleep. It was a long day and my body couldn’t take it anymore and it really did need some rest so I didn’t fight back but responded to it.
Hussain’s POV
As soon as I left the place I walked where my legs to me too. It couldn’t carry me for too long, exhausted, and broken I fell on the ground. Everything coming back to me. Same questions, deeper wounds, and their scars were making it harder for me. Sitting their alone among the silence of nature little did relax my mind a lot. I had no more energy in me to stand and go back, to see what was happening either did my mind was ready to get a hold of the trauma it was going through.
After sometime pull me to go back to that place. Not to see what the happenings were but to inform Aashiq and leave. It was not so good to leave without saying. Alas, it was about our business partnership. I can’t let it ruin. I had to maintain the gentleman code. As I went there I noticed that Aayesha and her friends were leaving. I didn’t want myself to be noticed. I waited until Aashiq was left behind.
As soon as they slept Aashiq did notice me. He walked up to me. We had our formal conversations. He was really a good guy and cool to talk too. Just in a few minutes, we became good friends. Though the sorrow was killing me inside for a couple of minutes he did make me feel better. Later we both had our dinner and I was fortunate enough because Aashiq didn’t bring Aayesha’s topic or anything about his proposal. It was time to say goodbye. The meeting ended there for the night.
I drove back home in my car. It has been a long day. I just hoped that this night doesn't end. I don’t want to face the next day which was another surprise. Life has always been a mystery I did enjoy it at times but when each passing day turns into misery you can’t be excited about what it has for you on the following day. I had no idea when I reached home. Still, I was not ready to get out of it. I pulled my seat a little back and relaxed. Everything kept on playing again and again. Just like that my eyes closed and I fell into a deep slumber.
Aashiq’s POV
As usual, I got and dressed. Than any other day today, I felt much happier. The office was the same, everything was the same except for the fact that I had expressed my feelings for Aayesha. I just hope she doesn’t feel bad. The day went with our meetings and on a good note, everything was going well. I thought of taking Aayesha on a dinner date. It’s just I wanted to know something more about her tonight.
It was nearly 5 pm Aayesha was getting ready to leave. I went to her cabin. “Hi Aayesha!“, as soon as I called her she turned to look at me. “Yes, Aashiq. Do you need something?”, her sight was really relaxing for me. Bringing out all my courage “Uhmmm…Will, you be free tonight?”, I scratched my neck waiting nervously for what she would say. “Aashiq, I’m sorry. But I just can’t hurry up into things. I told you that this needs time”, she was stammering herself.
