Chapter 14

That last sentence sent a pang of sadness through me. I know I hated it when people were right but what was worse was that I knew it too.

"You know what, let's not think about any of that for now. All I want right now is food. I could care less i I stayed here forever unless I get something to eat." I threw Christian a cocky smile as I jumped out of bed to brush my hair. I saw myself in the mitror and I was an utterly complete mess. I never was really embarassed on how I looked before but now wasn't the ime to start. I glanced into the side of the mirror and saw Christian laying on the bed, still with the white covers over his bottom half and he was leaning against the headboard. God, I may not like him but he was damn attractive.

"Like what you see?"

My mouth instantly dropped open when he started laughing at his comment he thought was funny.

"Umm kitten, you got a bit of drool hanging out." And then he burst back into a it of laughter.

Just great. Now I felt even more embarassed because he was right, I did actually like what I saw but I would admit that in my grave. I can't believe I just openly stared at him like that.

"So what's for breakfast, alpha?" I immediatly saw Christian go stiff and stop laughing. His eyes went from their usual shade of brown to a dark blackish color. I could faitly hear a low rumbling growl.

'Nice way to piss of an alpha male, let alone your mate' my wolf thought.

She even surprised me there. My wolf rarely spoke to me and I never knew why. We always got along but she usually only came out at random or important times.

"Don't do that. I won't be able to comtrol my wolf if you do that." Christian warned me in a deadly voice.

"I'm, I'm sorry." I hated that I stuttered but I wasn't like this was a comfortable situation.

I walked over to him and sat down on the bed next to him but made sure we weren't touching.

"This is going to sound stupid, but, uummm what did I do exactly?"

He only met my gaze with his intense stare until he responded.

"You tease him. My wolf I mean. He wanted to claim you as his since the momemt we saw you. I can keep him in check but not when you taunt him and get me to agree with him."

I could feel myself starting to blush. Did I jut turn him on? By calling him alpha? It was one of the funniest thing I thought of. Alpha Christian losing control because of me. It was just too amusing for me to keep in.

I let out a little giggle until I couldn't keep it in and laughed staright out. Obviously Christian didn't appreciate me laughing at him so he changed the topic. Typical.

"You do know that you will eventually have to decide what you do, or more of where you go."

I rolled my eyes and discarded his concern.

"I don't care until I get food."

"Hungry little bugger. I'll order us some coffee and crossants. It will be light in case you want something later."

"How many crossiants? And I was something like apple juice instead on coffee please. Also, what about later?"

"Apple juice? What the heck,are you still twelve?"

"I am not!"

"Then why apple juice?"

"Why coffee?"

"Because coffee is good."

"Apple juice is good."

"But coffee is meant to be a morning drink with breakfast."

"So is apple juice."

"I cannot believe you are arguing with me about how you think apple juice os better."

"You're the one arguing with me and it is better."

I just loved messing with Christian. In the short time I've known him, I found out how easy it was to annoy him.

"Fine it's better! Now will you please get dressed while I get your damn apple juice?"

I shrugged it off since it was obvious my fun had ended. I shrugged and pretended I wasn't interested in what he was saying.

"It's good to drink and what am I getting ready for?"

"You are coming with me to town. We will talk more when I come back with the food." He opened up the door and stepped out. Right as he was about to shut the door and leave, I half yelled "Ok alpha."

Christian just growled and slammed the door. This was going to be a fun day.
