Nezumi watched him from afar, his silvery gaze settling on every one of his movements. The way he walked, the way he danced when no one was around. It was all beautiful. He wanted to hold him, to cuddle him until the end of the world. Although he knew Shion would never notice him, he kept hope.
Night creeped upon Nezumi and Shion. Nezumi still sat watching Shion carefully. Bats flew up over head, and settled upon a tree branch over head. It seemed to watch Nezumi. Shion turned, and saw Nezumi looking up at the bat. Nezumi turned, and stared into Shion's eyes.
"Um, hello?" Shion called, and Nezumi panicked.
"Wait, who are you?"
"Nothing but a lousy street rat," Nezui's reply was gruff, and cold, as he turned away.
Shion chased after him, grabbing his wrist and turning him around.
"I want to know you," Shion was breathless.
"I-" Nezumi studied him carefully.
Shion just hugged him.

Sorry this one's pacing is a little strange, but I think it's alright.
