Can you tell me about Mars?

With one question Throttle could feel his guard drop. His walls had already started cracking soon after meeting Stella and at the mention of his home planet they started to crumble all the more.

There was something strange about this human woman that he just couldn't place. She was so different to others he'd met- admittedly he could count that number on one hand- but even if you included the Martian women, Stella was so unique she was in a league of her own.

Can you tell me about Mars?  - She'd said it with such curiosity. A genuine want for him to lull her to sleep with stories of his home.

And so he did. He lay next to her on the small single bed and told her of his home, of how he and his bros used to be back in the day. Of their friends and families. What Mars had looked like back before the war.

When he was finished with his story he looked at her to find she was fast asleep. Long blonde hair fanned out behind her. He'd sat up and brushed a stray strand of hair behind her ear before covering her with a spare blanket and making his way back down to his bros to sleep on the couch.

They were already fast asleep as well. Modo taking up one entire couch as per normal, Vinnie and Charley snoozing on the other - Charley with her head just about resting on the white mouse's shoulder. Throttle shook his head fondly, it was so obvious they liked each other. Vinnie had had a thing for Charley since their first meeting for Mars-sake. One of them just had to be brave enough to make the first move.

He collasped onto the recliner, taking off his glasses and rubbing at the bridge of his nose.

It had been a long day and an even longer night and not at all what he had expected...

The involuntary image of that black leather jumpsuit popped into his mind. The low cut top and how it clung to every piece of the body wearing it. The way that body had moved...God! What was he thinking!  It had been so long since he'd seen a woman in that way he didn't know how to react. He was acting like a damn teenager that had never been to a club before!

The tan mouse groaned softly and threw an arm over his eyes willing sleep to take him.

Thankfully he didn't need to wait long before he was drifting, no longer on Earth but on a Mars from many years ago.
