I yawn, watching the movie. Luke is laying across the couch, Ashton and Michael are outside in the grass eating the rest of the pizza, and Calum is taking a nap in his bed. I'm leaning back in my chair, sipping a coke.

"Hungry?"

"Nah."

"Come on. I'll get you a bowl of ice cream," He pushes, standing up and pulling out two bowls. "Scared of a little sugar?"

"No, I'm not."

"Than eat a bowl."

"No. I don't want it, Lucas."

"Yes you do," He says, pulling out the tub of ice cream. "What, are you scared of it? Scared of cold?" He grins over at me, looking for a scoop.

"At least I'm not scared of talking to some girl," I snap, annoyed with his constant sarcasm. I turn back to the movie, crossing my arms and leaning backward. I've eaten plenty today and he knows that I still count calories. He just doesn't stop.

I hear Luke laying the scoop on the counter, and walking across the room. I don't pay any attention to him until he speaks again, right behind my ear.

"What was that, love?"

"At least I'm not afraid to talk to some girl," I snap again, not looking at him. If I ignore him he'll back up. He normally does.

Luke grabs my arms and lifts me out of the chair, spinning me around and pushing my back into the wall. My heart races just like the first day he invaded my personal space and pinned me to the wall. He hasn't done this since that first week I was on the bus with them, and even then, I didn't know him. My heart acts as though it would burst, beating against my ribs like a caged animal. Can he hear it? Feel it?

"L-Luke!" I gasp out.

"Does it look like I'm scared to talk to her now?" He growls in my ear.

I gape at him, eyes huge. Me? He has a crush on me? Since when? My heart pounds harder.

His breath is soft and warm on my neck as he breathes, then he speaks softly. "You push me, you know. I'm falling in love with you and you continually push me. Do you know how often I want to push you up against a wall and kiss you? How often I want to pull off your cloths and have my way? I hold back. I pretend there's someone else. But all I think about is you." His voice is pitched low, soft. "Do you know how hard this is for me? Watching you be miserable? Seeing those scars? Not being able to save you? How badly I want to kiss every one of them, hold you close, show you how beautiful you are to me? I love you and I don't know how to stop."

I feel a hot blush creep up to my cheeks, and I lean into his touches. The smell of him is intoxicating. "I..."

"You? You what?" He growls against the hallow beneath my ear, kissing it. My breath leaves me, and I choke back moans and try not to tug my wrists free of his hands. "Answer me, Diana." His hands slide into mine, lacing my fingers with his and pinning them above my head. "What do you feel? What do you want? Tell me what to do. Say the word, I'll let go. One word. Or I'll kiss you. Say you want me, I'll kiss you, I'll hold you, I'll show you how very beautiful you are to me, how much I need you. Say you don't want me, I'll keep being your friend. I'll keep trying to be what you need." He kisses down my neck, holding me against the wall. "Come on, Diana. Answer me. I can't take this anymore, the hinting at it, needing you, holding you at night and knowing that you can easily be in someone else's arms in the morning. I need you. I need an answer."

I lean into his every touch, the feel of his lips against my skin leaving me breathless and needy.

"Answer me, Diana." He hisses, pulling his mouth off me. I whimper in the loss, eyes meeting his.

"I love you," I say simply, finding it true.

He doesn't hesitate. His lips crash onto mine with a sudden urgency, hands pulling free of mine and lifting me by my waist. I lock my legs around his waist and kiss back, locking my fingers in his hair, not caring about whether or not he yells at me or not for messing it up.

When Calum walks in and gives a loud wolf whistle, I pull away but Luke's mouth slides down my neck, seeming to need any part of me, starving for something I can't name. "Get some, Luke!"

I gasp and struggle to regain my composure and breath enough to tell Luke to stop. Before I can, Luke growls against my throat. "Calum, say one more word and you will have a black eye." He pulls back and looks me in the eye, relaxing, then his mouth meets mine again but he's more gentle, sweet. "I love you," He whispers.

"I love you," I whisper back.

He kisses me again, and I hear Ashton and Michael walk in. Ash gives a low, knowing chuckle and Michael just claps a few times.
