I sunk more deeply into my seat. God, I couldn't believe this was happening. Why!? Stupid me. And all on my first day back at school! Christ!
Josh stole a side-long glance at me and grinned. "Don't be afraid. We'll try not to hurt you..."
Alarm took over me. "We? Try? Who is we?" I questioned rapidly. "Are you gonna kill me? Am I gonna die?! Oh God, I'm gonna die by the hands of a pyscho!"
"Shut the hell up Evie, Jesus. I'm not gonna kill you, of course not. I'd never kill my girlfriend. I'll do other things, if you know what I mean..." Josh had always had a perverted mind, so unfortunatley, I knew exactly what he meant.
"I wouldn't let you, you know. I'm not a whore."
"You don't have to be." The was a twisted edge to his deep voice. I used to think his voice was sexy up until--
I was slammed out of my reverie when a hand connected with my cheek, sending it ablaze. I yelped in pain and clutched my face, glaring wildly at Josh. "What the FUCK?! Why did you do that!?"
"I wanted to hear you scream. It sounds nice." He likes the sound of my screams? See?! Proof he's crazy!
"Josh, let me the hell out of this car, RIGHT NOW, or I'll do something I'll regret," I threatened him icily. He simply rolled his eyes. There were four more minutes of silence before the car stopped. I looked up. All I saw was green.
The forest? Why were we in the forest?
I looked around a little more. Damn, we were deep in the forest. Tree's all around. Although, there was a faint path of car tires from where we'd come. Shit! I just realized I hadn't been paying attention to the road we'd taken. SHIT!
"Josh, where are we?"
"No where you know. I'm glad you were so preoccupied with glaring at me and picking your nails that you didn't see where we went." He smiled evilly. My stomach twisted uncomfortably. Shit!
I had to think of something, and think of something fast. I couldn't sit here and let him do whatever he wanted to me! Hell no! I was freaking Evelynn Scott, the same Evelynn that took on two guys and a chick at the same time. Evelynn who could fight any time of day. Evelynn who threw insults back and forth. Evelynn who could be seductive and persuasive when she wanted to be. Evelynn who--
Persuasion. The word stuck out from my entire thought.
And seduction.
Maybe... maybe Josh really was still in love with me. My eyes flicked to him, his eyes on his cellphone and his fingers typing away at a text. Then a little lower, where my phone was in his pocket. Then up a little again, to where the locks for the doors were. MY mind moved ahead of me. All in one movement? Could I distract him with my body long enough to unlock the doors, grab my phone and escape? Hell, it was worth a shot.
I took a deep breath and let it out shakily. This was going to be so awkward. Well, for me at least. He'd probably enjoy it.
One more deep breath and I started. "Josh..." I purred. His body stiffened and looked up into my intense gaze. He widened his eyes a bit before control what was inside him.
"W-what, Evie?" he stammered. I unbuckled myself and leaned across the armrest between us. I reached out and ran a finger down his chest, at which he shivered in delight. Ugh, disgusting.
"I was thinking... about us. Maybe... things don't have to end badly," I started, using two fingers to walk up his chest. I could feel his heartbeat rise. Jesus, a simple touch from me was all it took to get him excited. I sighed inwardly before continuing.
