Chapter Five

~~~~~ Karmen - Hell To The No ~~~~~

"Karmen do you have visual?" The chief's voice is heard loud and clear through the earpiece they put inside my ear. I bend down and try to stretch the damn dress but it won't budge. "He's entering the club." I say looking directly at Christopher as he puts his arm around a girl's waist and disappears into the club main doors.

"you know what to do, but try not to get caught." 

Following the instructions given, I leave the dress alone and to take a deep breath to work up the courage to walk towards the entrance.

I am so not paid enough for this.

My phone vibrates in my hand making me stop and answer the call for I know that if I don't she will kill me. "hey sis I'm in the middle of something can I call you back later?" She groans and seems to know that I am no where near New York. I take the phone out of the reach of my sensitive ears as she screams into the receiver. "Isa, I swear to you that I will make it to your wedding alright just let me finish this first and then I will be up there in the church awaiting your big arrival so you can marry this guero and have many guero children." I hang up on her and resumed my assignment hoping that we catch this guy once and for all.

The line to enter the club is long but quickly advances. The security guard looks at me up and down slowly with a grin on his face as I step in front of him. I slowly begin to take my badge out the purse and lift my eyebrow at him when he won't take his eyes off my breasts. He immediately removes the rope and opens the door for me before I could completely take the FBI badge out. I smile and put the badge back into the purse as I pass him by.

The music blares through the speakers as I enter the inside of the night club. The lights are colorful illuminating a massive crowd at the dance floor where smoke flows under their feet. There is barely enough room to walk or even see your own feet. I straighten out after spotting Christopher shaking a man's hand with the same girl still by his side.

 "There are 4 bodyguards located inside the roped VIP section and two on the outside." I inform the chief and the rest of the team looking straight at the biggest one located by the ropes eying everyone and removing anyone who is too close to the ropes.

This is not going to be easy.

"Hey beautiful, you want to dance?" A random guy asks stopping me as I make my way towards Christopher. I simply shake my head denying his offer and continue my pursuit. The guy steps in front of me blocking my view when I ignore him again.

"Come on, you know you want to." The guy tries to put his hands on me but I grab his wrist and twist his arm behind his back. He inhales in pain but does not scream not wanting to cause a scene. "I said, I was not interested." the guy looks scared beyond belief probably wishing he never hit on me as I stare into his eyes. I let him go and watch him run for his life. He bumps into people pushing them out of the way turning to see if I'm following him but never completely stops.

"Karmen what's happening? Do you have visual?" the voice brings me back to the task at hand. I snap my head up and see Christopher still talking to the same guy with the girl sitting down next to him on the black leather couches. I sigh in relief. The last thing I need is to loose this guy again.

"What can I get you miss?" The bartender asks as I lay my purse on the table and sit on the stool. "water." I say looking behind me at Sam who is playing his role and dancing like a maniac. When I turn back the bartender has a weird look on his face. He fixes himself and gives me a glass of water.
