Chapter 6
"Why won't you talk to me?" He followed behind me.
"Because of what happened." I spun around.
His lips somehow ended up on mine. I pulled back and slapped him.
"Don't you ever kiss me again." I snarled.
He was smiling.
"Get used to it babe. We're gonna kiss a lot during rehearsals." He smirked.
"In your dreams." I went to the library.
I found myself there a lot now during lunch. It was better than being in the cafeteria. Also because Zane was lonely. Mrs. Palm left so it was just him and his guitar.
I walked to where he usually was and sure enough his guitar was being played. I turned the corner and he was staring into space until he saw me. He smiled up at me.
"Here." I tossed him a bag of chips and a bottled water and sat down.
"Aww how sweet." He set them aside.
"Keep you from stealing my stuff." I folded my legs.
"I can steal if I want to." Sung and played his guitar. "Na,na,na. Na,na,na,na." He laughed.
"Oh that sucks." I shook my head. "Play my favorite song." I smiled.
"And what might that be?" He took a sip of his water.
"The one that goes

He raised his brown and placed his fingers on the strings.

"Yeah! That one!!" I snapped my fingers and smiled. "Keep singing."
He laughed and continued on. I had this song in my head for the longest. Just to hear him sing it filled me with satisfaction.
"I see you found Zane." Mrs. Palm laughed and leaned against the book shelf.
"Shhh!" I shushed her.

She waited until he was done singing until she spoke.
"Having fun?" She laughed.
