Chapter 19

I ran threw the airport and looked for his gate. I had to beg the security guard to let me through. I wasn't gonna be long.

"Flight 145 to Las Angeles, California is now boarding." The lady announced.

No! He can't leave. Not yet.

I pushed through people and looked for it. I saw him at the beginning of the gate getting his ticket checked.

"Zane!!" I called out and continued to push through people. "Zane!!"

He looked around and he didn't see me. I said excuse me to the people in line waiting.

"Zane!" I said again right when I got to him.

He looked down at me and smiled.

"You couldn't leave without a goodbye kiss." I smiled.

He tangled his fingers in my hair and kissed me softly. The kiss was so sweet, so passionate, I never wanted it to end.

I was the one to pull away.

"I remember Zane." I smiled bigger.

"Remember what?" He ran his fingers through my hair and down my arms.

"Everything." I whispered.

My heart was hammering against my chest. I thought it would've exploded.

He looked into my eyes and they were as bright as he was.

"How long will you be gone?" I had to know.

"A year and a half." He frowned.

"That's a long time." I hugged him.

He hugged me and rubbed my back.

I will wait for him.

"Can you remember something else?" He pulled away.

"What?" I wiped away the tears that was falling.

He took my hand and placed it on his chest. I could feel his heart slamming against it at a rapid pace. It matched mine. I looked at him in shock.

"You feel that." I nodded. "It beats for you Roxie. It will continue to beat for you if you promise you'll wait for me." He held slight doubt in his voice and his eyes.

Silly silly boy.

"Of course I will wait for you." I smiled.

"Good because I-"

"Sorry to break up this love fest but we do have other passengers that have yet to board sir." She said.

We both looked at her before looking at each other.

"It'll be over before you know it i promise. I'll call you when I can." He mumbled before kissing me.

It was short and sweet. We stood there hugging for a moment before he had to force himself to leave.

Why does liking someone so much hurts so bad when they leave?

Michael saw how distraught I was when I came back to him. He wrapped his arms around and pulled me into his chest. He rubbed my back at kissed the top of my head. I cried into his chest.

You just don't like Zane. You love him.

Ok I actually cried writing this chapter. It was so cute and sweet. Also short but I wanted to end it there.

One more chapter and then an epilogue. I'm gonna miss all the readers on this story. But all of you can check out one of my other two stories.
