Permanent Vacation

Chapter 4

I woke up the next morning at 2:15. Kenzie was already in the shower and I ran downstairs to make us coffee for the ride to the airport. I heard the shower turn off as I turned our Keurig on. Kenzie  came down in sweats and a sweatshirt. Then Alicia turned the shower on and hopped in quickly. I passed her a mug with caramel swirl ice coffee in it. I made mine and I went up to shower and get ready. It was 2:45 when I got out of the shower and I brought our bags down from the hallway with a little help from Kenzie  and Alicia.

I went back upstairs to dry my hair, straighten my hair, and do my makeup. I finished a half an hour later and Kenzie  and Alicia came up and did their hair and makeup. I grabbed one of the hair ties from our box and threw my straight hair up in a ponytail. We were ready by 4:15 and I checked the weather for LA once we got there. It was going to be 80° with clear skies. So we would probably change once we got there.

I opened Instagram and checked what had been posted last night. Then I checked Facebook and Snapchat too. I heard the limo driver honk and Alicia and Kenzie  had both of their bags and their purses and I had both of mine and my purse and we were out the door.

"Good morning ladies." The driver said politely.

"Morning." I said with a polite smile.

The driver took our bags and loaded them into the back; while we got into the back of the limo. It was so nice. It was warm and it had heated seats. The interior was a cream color and there was a mini fridge under wooden shelves.

The driver hopped into the front and we pulled away from our condo. Boston was so pretty at 4 am because there weren't many people out yet. Besides, it was a Saturday so not many people would be out until later this morning anyway. It was a silent ride to the airport and Kenzie  was sitting on her phone and so was Alicia.

I was listening to Permanent Vacation, when we finally pulled up to the airport doors. The driver parked the limo and he got out of the car and grabbed our bags from the trunk. Kenzie  Alicia and I got out of the limo and we took our bags and thanked the driver before we went into the airport to find our gate. We went through security, then we found Starbucks. We all got a mocha frappe chino, and a chocolate chip croissant. We walked down and we found gate C21 our flight to LA. It was just me Alicia and Kenzie  at the gate, then one of the receptionists came up to us and asked "Are you Mikayla, Alicia and Kenzie?"

"Yeah." I said

"Come with me and I'll board you on to the plane because you are on a private jet." She said

"Ok! Thank you so much!" I said

"No problem." She said with a smile.

I looked back at Kenzie  and Alicia and I smiled. She looked so excited. We walked onto the plane and I was in awe. It was everything I ever dreamed a private jet would be.

It had 6 chairs all near windows, and it had a bar with a mini fridge. It also had a flat screen tv and wifi. I was freaking out and so was Kenzie. Once we were situated, the plane began it's journey to take off.

Once we were in the air, I decided to watch tv and play on my phone, (like I typically would.) I watched The Fault In Our Stars, and Pitch Perfect. Kenzie was sitting by the window listening to music and probably playing 1010. And Alicia was listening to music and sleeping. After both movies, we landed. I looked out the window and I saw bright blue skies, and it looked really pretty.

We gathered all of our things and we walked out of the plane to feel the LA air for a minute, then we were in the airport. I started looking around for the baggage claim and found the sign pretty quickly. Kenzie  and Alicia were behind me as I started walking to the baggage claim.

Once we got there, I found out bags and we pulled them off the claim. I looked to my left and I saw a bathroom so I walked over with Kenzie  and Alicia and we changed into shorts and tank tops.

We came back out of the bathroom and we saw our limo driver. We walked over and he took our bags and we followed him out to the limo. Alicia, Kenzie  and I climbed in and we were off to the mansion where the boys lived.

I rolled the windows down and I felt the warmth of LA at 8:30 am on my skin. I was in awe because there was so much to see. We were turning down a street then all of downtown LA started to fade.

Then before I knew it, we were at the boys' mansion. It was so gorgeous. The driver got out and opened the door for us, and we got out of he car and followed the driver to the back of the car to get our carry on bags.

We walked up to the door and the door was opened by the one and only Michael Clifford. He pulled us into s hug and I started crying because I was so happy. Michael pulled us inside and Luke came over to me and pulled me away from Michael and hugged me.

"Shhh. It's ok love." He cooed.

I looked up to see his gorgeous blue eyes. I stopped and he asked "What's your name beautiful?"

"Mikayla." I answered

"Ah, so this must be Kenzie." Michael added as he pulled away from his hug with Kenzie  to see her face.

"Wow Kenzie, you're so beautiful." He said

She giggled and blushed and said "Thank you."

Ashton walked over to Alicia and hugged her and she started crying even more.

"I thought beautiful girls didn't cry." Ashton said to Alicia smiling.

Then Calum came down and gave us hugs and then the four of them told us what we were doing for the next 10 days. We were thrilled. Ashton volunteered to show us to our room, and he told us to follow him. He grabbed our bags and gestured for us to follow him upstairs. We went to the left and all the way down the hallway and showed us to the last room on the left.

It had a king sized bed with a canopy and a black and red bedspread. It also had black curtains on the canopy. It also had a dresser, a closet and a flat screen tv. We walked over to the closet and opened the door to put our suitcases in our walk in closet that had a bunch of clothes in it already. Then Michael, Luke and Calum walked into the room.

"Girls, we have something to tell you." Luke said with a serious expression.

"We've never told anyone, including our fans this." He paused and looked at the guys and continued.

"We're vampires, and we made the contest just so we could find the girls that we wanted to marry." He finished.

"What?" Kenzie  and I both squealed, while Alicia looked like she was going to pass out

"Yeah." Luke said and the boys nodded in agreement.

"Mikayla," Luke started "You'll be getting married to me." He finished

Michael added "Kenzie, the same thing will be happening with the two of us."

"Ok." She said.

"And Alicia, you'll be getting married to me." Ashton said.

"Ok!" She said

"Wait, what about Calum?" I asked

"She will be coming in later today." Ashton said.

"So Mikayla, do you want to go downstairs with me to talk just the two of us?" Luke asked me.

"Yeah." I said.

Luke took my hand and lead me up the hall and down the stairs.

"So Mikayla, what do you like to do?"

"Well, I like singing, listening to music, and reading." I said with a blush.

"How would you like to go out to a fancy restaurant tonight to talk more and to tour LA?"

"I would love to."
