My heart literally hurts, my chest is in pain, life without you will never be the same. I can't blame you, because I did you wrong too, but now that it's officially over I don't know what to do...

"Daniel, are you okay?" Diana, my current girlfriend says breaking me out of my reading. I don't know why I keep trying to replace Selena, she's the only one for me. "Uhh, yeah. I'm fine." I respond closing the small notebook. She grabs my hand and smiles at me, her dimples piercing into her cheeks. Diana is an Asian woman, short, with long black hair. She had green eyes that you could spot from miles away. She's beautiful. But she's not Selena.. "Dan, you can tell me anything." She says, as her Brooklyn accent is expressed in every word. I turn away, looking at the ocean in front of us. She begged me to take her to LA, and being the pushover I am, I brought her here the next day. That type of shit is going to get me in trouble one day; but right now, I'm just trying to fix my broken heart. Keep my mind off her.. She hugs me by my waist and cuddles into my shoulder. "Daniel, you have me now. Why do you keep thinking of the woman who left you in the first place?" She asks in a whisper as she plays with the hem of my shirt. I laugh a little remembering what I texted Selena the day she left Don't sweat babe, you'll be mine again. I promise. That promise has been lasting for three years now. "Don't worry about that Ana." I respond. She lets go of me and turns away, crossing her arms angrily. "Is it because she's better than me? I could actually have your baby Dan, unlike she could. But you won't give me a chance!" She snaps. She just crossed the line.

Khalil...

"I might as well have cheated on you, as much as you accused me of cheating, I might as well have lied to you, as much as you accused me of lying..." Selena sang into the microphone. She wanted a record deal after being a video girl for two years, so I made it happen. I watched her sing with her eyes closed and sway her hips to the beat. She wrote this song about Diggy, every word is like a beautiful poem expressing my success. He's going to go insane when he hears it. My thoughts were interrupted by her rushing out of the mic room and she runs into my arms, crying. I smirk and let her hug me. "It's finished." Mark, the producer says looking at me weirdly. "Release it." I respond as Selena climbs into my lap, wrapping her arms around my torso. I put my hands behind my head as he plays the song again, and listen to the beautiful words. I'd pay to see his face when he hears it. "Dan is going to be so upset." She says leaning into my neck. I roll my eyes at her comment. Who cares about Daniel?

I check my phone seeing that it's already hitting headlines. Diggy's ex girlfriend, making songs about their relationship? Another one said, Diggy's ex strikes back with a fearless song. I laugh softly to myself knowing that in just a matter of time, Diggy will lose his mind. He's going to continue to learn not to fuck with what's mine. "Ready to go?" I ask. She nods and gets up, leaving the room. I thank Mark and walk out to the car.

Selena...

I woke up the next morning from stuff falling coming from Serenity's room. I swear she does it on purpose just to wake me up early in the morning. I groan and turn over, seeing Khalil sleeping peacefully. I kiss him on the cheek and get out of bed, walking to Serenity's room seeing her looking through her box of Barbie dolls. "What's happened?" I ask. "Mama, the house fall down." She says pointing to a doll house laying on the floor. I sigh at the sight. "Guess I'll help get you dressed." I say and she stands up, grabbing my hand. I take her into the bathroom and fill up the bathtub with warm water and bubbles then I place her in it carefully. "Bubblers!" She yells as she splashes the water around, getting some bubbles on her cheek. I start bathing her but my phone vibrates so I check it seeing it's Daniel. I sigh and ignore it but it just rings again right after. I pick it up, and take a deep breath, then I answer it.
