3 A.M. (Camren)

Here we all were standing in my room. I could finally piece it together; why Normani was always gone. Dinah is her girlfriend. With a girl that looks like her, I'd always want to be gone too.

This world is extremely small.

"Sorry about barging in." Camila said letting out a stifled laugh.

"No, you guys are fine." I smiled. "It's not often that I have more than one person up here."

It's not like my anxiety levels aren't kicking my ass right now.

"Mani was right, you are a little strange." Dinah attempted to whisper softly.

"You are terrible at whispering things." Normani shook her head at Dinah's comment. "I'm sorry Lo, I just meant you're different that's all."

You know, maybe they were right. I am strange but does that really make me any different than them? I am human. So are they.

"I know you didn't mean anything anything by it," I smiled softly. "I'm still not going."

"Lo, please." Normani pouted. "It'll be fun."

"I thought she agreed." Camila chimed in.

I laughed, "I didn't know about it until a few minutes ago. Of course I didn't agree. Normani knows I would never go anywhere with a bunch of gir-" I paused for a moment. It'll all started to make sense. "Oh," I said giving Mani an incredulous look. "You little shit."

"Well somebody has a potty mouth." Dinah giggled.

I ran my fingers through my hair, all I could do really in this moment was laugh. "You set me up."

"I wouldn't say 'set up'." Normani shrugged, "Think of it as helping out a friend."

"Some people can't be helped.." I whispered softly.

Obviously Camila was the only one to hear it because her facial expression changed from happy to slightly confused and disappointed. I didn't want to disappoint anyone. I just don't want to give their hopes up either.

Camila cleared her throat, "We'll just wait for you guys outside. Let's go Dinah."

"But, I want to stare at planet green eyes!"

Camila groaned dragging Dinah out of the room. "Your girlfriend is like right there dude."

"She won't mind, she checks out Lauren too." Dinah huffed walking away.

"You check me out?"

Normani laughed awkwardly, "I'm just gonna get into the car."

I sighed running my hand through my hair. "What the hell.." I mumbled.

Camila stood in the doorway fiddling with her fingers. "I really hope you decide to come Lauren." She smiled before leaving like the others.

I sat on the edge of my bed.

I really don't like this. This is just a disaster waiting to happen.

Then again, Mani will be there I should be fine. Camila will be there too.

"Fuck it, I'll only live once."

As I walked out of my house I could hear the girls cheering as I got closer to them. Camila ran up to me and pulled me into a hug, "I'm really glad you decided to come." She whispered in my ear.

I'm pretty sure my face was extremely red.

"Me too." I gave her a light pat on the back and she pulled away from me to face Normani and Dinah.
