Chapter 15

Today was the day of my graduation and I was so nervous and I didn't even knew why. I got out of my bed having a headache. "Goddammit, please not today." I went down and my mom shook her head smiling at me. "Good morning beautiful."

"Good morning mom."

"It's your graduation day."

"Yeah, yeah I know."

"I'm so proud of you." My mom started to tear up. I couldn't handle than just walk to her and hug her real tight. "You're growing up so fast." I wiped her tears away. My dad looked up as he joined the hug. "Hugging without me?" I turned my head seeing Tucker spreading his arms out wrapping it out all of us. The day started good because of this little family moment.

My mom was helping me out with the suit I needed to wear until someone knocked on the door. "Come in." My mom said. I turned around seeing Ashton standing there smiling, I smiled back. He came to me and hugged me. "I'm proud of you." He kissed my forehead, I smiled again. He held his hand onto my belly. "Your baby bum is almost showing off." I nodded, "Yeah."

Ashton took my graduation cap and put it on my head. "Now you're ready." I smiled.

"Makayla Mae Henderson." I stood up walking up the stage while everyone was clapping their hands. I looked up seeing my family and friends and also Ashton giving me the thumbs up. I smiled.

A few minutes after my speech I walked over my seat again to listen to the others and enjoyed this day, the last that I was at high school.

"You did great." Ashton kissed my forehead.

"Really? Didn't I looked nervous on stage?" He shakes his head, "No."

I went over the canteen with Ashton by my side. My parents were already there. I walked over the table where I needed to hand my suit and graduation cap. "There you go."

"Congrats." The woman said who took over my suit and graduated cap. "Thanks." I smiled. I went back to Ashton who was talking to Amanda, Brandon and Michael. "There you are." He kissed my cheek. Tucker was flirting with some girls, like he always does. Luke was nowhere to be found. Did he already left? "I'm going outside to get some fresh air." I told Ashton. "Do I need to come with?" I shake my head, "no it's alright."

I kissed his cheek and walked over the exit door. Luke was standing there all alone. "Hi there." He turned around, first looking shocked but then he smiled. "Hey."

"Congrats." I held my hand on his shoulder. "Thanks, you too."

There was this silence and I just needed to kill it. "I'm sorry."

"Sorry for what?"

"Sorry for being a bitch to you on Monday, Luke."

"It's okay."

"No it's not Luke."

"Yes it is Makayla. I'm actually the one who needs to say sorry. We broke up and I ignored you for days and just started making out with Arzaylea. I'm sorry." I bit my lip and pulled him to me, hugging him.
