Chapter 23

"How was the date?" Amanda stormed into my room, me standing there in my room with a towel around me.

"Never heard of knocking, oh my god," I said, turning around to get my clothes out of my closet, "and the date was amazing," I turned to her, winking.

"Oh my god, give me details! except if you guys, you know," I laughed, "No, we didn't."

"Hold this," I handed her a shirt.

"Oh, my, god,"  I smiled, "give me your hand!"

I gave my hand, "Oh my god, did he really proposed?!" I nodded, "Oh my god, this ring is so beautiful."

"You say a lot of 'oh my god' today," I laughed.

"Because this is 'oh my god' Macky! He proposed! You're going to be Mrs. Irwin!"

"Congrats bro!" Me and Amanda heard Michael yelling from the other room, we both laughed.

"When are you going to tell your parents?" Ashton asked me.

"I don't know, soon, I guess."

"If you want, we can go today?"

"Oh okay, good for me."

Ashton and I went to car to get to our parents. We went to his first. We arrived soon. I stepped out and so did he, walking towards the front door. We ran the bell and soon Harry opened.

"Ashton!" He yelled, running into Ashton's arms. "I missed you."

Ashton giggled. I love when he giggles. "Missed you too little one," He said, going through Harry's hair. They let go of each other and we went inside taking place in the sofa in the living room.

"Mom! Ashton and Makayla are here!" Harry yelled. Anne Marie soon came inside and so did Lauren.

"Ashton!" She yelled like Harry did, Ashton got up, so they could hug. I smiled to myself. Ashton has been the 'father' to this family and never dissapointed them. Ashton took place next to me again and so did Anne Marie, Lauren and Harry.

"So what did you two brought you here?" Anne Marie asked to us. I looked over Ashton who was also looking at me at the same time. "Can't I visit my family?" I stumped him with me arm. I could tell he was nervous of telling that we were going to marry.

"And there is something we need to tell," He said, placing his hand onto my lap.

"I thought there would be something. Is there a baby coming?"

"No, no not at all," He took my hand where I put on the ring and he stretched out my arm.

"I actually proposed to Makayla."

Anne Marie's mouth fell open. Was that a good or a bad sigh?

"No way! Oh my god, I'm so happy for you two!" That was a good sigh. She stood up and me and Ashton did as well.

"Congrats," Anne Marie said, spreading her arms to Ashton to hug him. Lauren and Harry joined the hug and I did too after.

"Now your parents,"  I nodded. We were there for like 2 hours and still didn't went to my parents place.

"We're here," Ashton said as he pulled over in front of my parents house. I smiled.

We got out of the car and went to the front door, just like everyone does.

We rang the bell and my mom opened the door. "What a suprise,"  she said smiley, leaning in for a hug. She also gave Ashton one. We walked inside. My dad was as usual watching the tv.

"Makayla, honey," He said, turning off the tv. He stood up and kissed my forehead, "I missed my little girl."

"We actually came to say something," I said, stepping away from my dad to Ashton.

"You are not pregnant again are you?" My dad said, me chuckling, "No, I'm not."

I stretch out my arm so they could see the ring. "Ashton proposed me," I said.

"Isn't it too soon?" My mom said. I didn't expected that answer. I was more like Anne Marie's answer. 'Congrats, I'm so happy for you two'.

"What's wrong?"

"You're just 19 and already getting married? It's not like I don't like Ashton, I love him very much and I know he's a great guy. But-" Ashton cuts her off.

"Look, I get your answer. Me, myself, thought it was also very soon and I do still think that. But I love Makayla so much you can't imagine. I see a future with her, I really do," I blushed. That was so sweet of him.

"I am very happy for you two, I really am. Don't think that I don't want you two to marry. I actually did imagined you two getting married but not now already. But makayla I love you so much that I respect you decision. You're an adult now but you will be and stay my little girl," My mom said to me, I smiled.
