"I missed you..." a familiar voice chimed to me.

      Doki Doki Doki...

     That voice...

I hugged the guy as tight as I possibly could. "Deidara-kun..."

He let me go, just to get a good look at me. He held my face in his large hands and brushed the back of his left hand against my cheek. "I see you're still cute as usual..."

I felt my face get hot. Doki doki doki... ('doki' is the sound of a heart beat for those who are not aware)

Deidara had suddenly turned red, too. "Erm... I mean---."

I embraced him again, just so he wouldn't have to awkwardly finish his sentence. "I'm so glad you're here!" I squealed happily. "You were even able to transfer the same school as me! How'd that happen?"

He let out a small chuckle. "It was a pretty hard task. First, I---."

"And who might you be?" a stern sounding Sasori-sensei inquired. Noooo, why is he here already... Our reunion was so sweet!

"Ah, I'm Deidara," the blond answered, not even bothering to let go of me. I attempt to wriggle out from his arms, but he wouldn't let me leave. I don't want Sasori-sensei to be eying me weirdly... "Stop moving so much, Misaki."

Sasori-sensei gave me a strange look (see!), then put his gaze back toward Deidara. "Are you new here?"

"Yeah, I am. I just transferred today. By the way, do you know where the teacher is?"

Oh, d@mn... He did not just say that...

Sasori-sensei tried to hide his annoyance towards my naive friend. "Oh, I'm the art teacher, actually."

"You are? But you look really young!"

"Ah, I get that a lot. I'm 18, but I happened to get my degree early. I'll be teaching you this year, and Sasori-sensei is my name. It is a pleasure to have you as an addition to my class. Misaki will explain to you what to do today," Sasori-sensei discussed to him with a welcoming smile. He began to turn his feet to leave, but before he was going to walk off, he said in my ear, "He's almost as annoying as you."

I really hate that guy. I want to punch him. I want to kick him. I want to---.

I shook my head rapidly. Stop thinking about causing that guy pain right now! Focus on what's really important! "Where're the others?" I asked Deidara, who was currently staring off into space.

His head popped back into reality. "Oh! The others? Well, actually..." he leaned closer to me. Doki... "Our first day is really tomorrow, I just really wanted to see you." He winked at me with his clear crystal, long-lashed eyes.

Doki doki doki doki... Calm down... "Ah! Is that so! Ha! Ha!" Don't act stupid! I cleared my throat. "So how're Hidan and them?"

"It's pretty obvious how Hidan is, yeah, ha. They're all doing pretty great. Everyone's still stupid as usual."

The two of us continued conversing back and forth, catching up on what's been going on in our different locations. We both joked about old times and sometimes his striving hatred towards our (or my) friend Itachi. I get such a nostalgic feeling talking and laughing with him... It's only been about five weeks, but I can't stand a day with out this dumb blond. I've known him since birth, my dad and his father were childhood friends as well. Our dads introduced their love of art to us, and that made us grow closer to becoming best friends.
