Seven months later.

"Jeon, listen to this." The female officer looked up from her computer, rising to stand in front of the screen along with the other officers in the office. Her partner raised the television's volume.

"A decision had been made to send twelve males, all under the age of thirty, to a specialist government rehabilitation camp- Exodus. It is the first time ever in Korean history for so many people, regardless of their age and gender, to be sent there in the hopes that they will use what a source has told us to be execptional talent, for the benefit of the country. The twelve young men will be transferred from their prisons in the South Gyeongsang, North Jeolla, Gyeonggi and Gangwon Provinces within the month. A government official has claimed that if these extreme measures do not bring them back to the right side of the law, then no other opportunity will be given for freedom for these youths. Now onto the business sector..." The television's volume was reduced and all eyes were on Officer Jeon. She had such a pitying look in her eyes that the other officers were suddenly concerned.

"Jeon, what's the matter?" Officer Kim asked, seating himself back in his chair.

"Ah, it's just that, my younger cousin works there."

"At Camp Exodus?" This was news to the officers. Jeon nodded.

"And several of her friends work there too." She added.

"Isn't your cousin a real sweetheart though?" One of the officers asked. Murmurs began circulating imparting people's apologies for the suffering Jeon's sister and her friends would have to endure. Jeon waved them all off with a snort. She finished her statement quietly, almost as though she was reflecting on her own previous actions.

"It's not my cousin or any of her friends that I feel bad for. Those poor boys..."

Gyeonggi Prison

"Oi, oi, oi, what do we have here?"

"So, a couple of us are going to be sent to Camp Exodus because we've shown exceptional skill? How many of us from here?" The inmates were buzzing as they took in the news. At the back of the large hall where they had just finished viewing the surprising news report, two youths were watching with little to no interest.

They had been in prison since December. They had been separated from their friend since December. The two had chosen to stay quiet and exemplify their best behaviour in the hopes of parole. Being sent to a rehabilitation camp wouldn't help them find him- and that was their only priority.

"What do we do if we've been chosen to go? I heard that their methods aren't, er, orthodox." The younger of the pair murmured, his wide eyes focused on the table. His friend cast an uncaring eye across the room and exhaled.

"Then we continue like we have been here. We try and get out so early that we can find Baek. That stupid jerk better not have kicked the bucket." He muttured.

On the side of the hall, not too far from where the pair were sitting, another male was leaning against the wall, also watching with disinterest. Well, more like he didn't really understand all the fuss over a rehabilitation camp.

Bored of the excitement, he chose to leave for his room early, passing a young male who was stood just to the side of the doorway, watching the buzz with an expressionless, distant gaze.
