Your pov

i don't really know how far i've ran, however i felt like my legs were going to give up any minute, i needed to keep going, my consciousness kept comeing and going, i felt my legs buckle underneath me and i fell to the ground, scrapeing my knees as i did so. "ow..." i mumbled as tears streamed down my face, the monster was closeing in. Just as i was about to black out i heard...voices...they weren't clear but they were yelling something about...ghouls?...murder...killing. As far as i knew, once voice was more childish and the other more adult-like. 'This is it...ill see you soon mummy...daddy'

Juuzou's POV

"Hahaha, was it like this?!....Like this?!....did the pain feel like this?!" I laughed hysterically at the dying corpses surounding us. However my laughing fit seized when i caught sight of a smaller body lying a bit further away from the others. Seeing that my partner was already talking to somebody on the phone, i decided to find out what 'it' was. Skipping nearer to the body, i haulted and crouched next to the smaller frame, it looked to be about 7 years old...wether it be human or ghoul, it didn't look to be a ghoul...it didn't smell like one either. (dont ask how he knows what a ghoul smells like i really dont know either). Brushing some of the hair from her face, i could see she had a very frightened expression adorning her pretty features. "Suzuya! come, hurry up we need to leave...wait whats that?" Shinohara-san called. "mmm...nothing, comeing!" I smiled as i picked up the girl bridal style, who i now figured was still alive from her troubled breathing. Shinohara-san gave me a questionable look but even so, started leading the way. I looked down one last time at the small broken girl in my arms and going unoticed, i started smileing softly at her. 'i wonder what her name is....how did she end up here...was she being chased by though's ghouls?' i thought to myself 'i have so many questions when she wakes up...or if she wakes up' I giggled earning a concerned look from the taller man next to me. Still however the silence continued....until his phone went off, again.....'oh how i hate that stupid ringing noise...'

also sorry if any characters are OOC at any time, i really need to get them right, im on the second season of the anime for gods sake xD
