Pinky's POV

"What... Is that blood?... Charlotte!?" I yelled, then ran toward the door just in time before Avril and Al could get their hands on me and pull me back. I swung open the heavy door, hearing Al and Avril yell at me.

"Get back here!" "No! Pinky! Something could kill you" they cried. My eyes teared up, but I needed to save Charlotte, and I'm not scared of some blood. They're the babies.

"Charlotte! Where are you!!!" I yelled before I could even see what was in there. I felt a pain on my arm, then I realized that Avril and Al finally got in, and yanked me hard by the arm.

"What are you doing Pinky?! This isn't safe! I'm calling 911, don't look!" Al yelled, grabbing Avril and my arm, then diving out of the library before we could even see what was inside. We landed all each other, and the library doors swung shut, the blood still on the windows. It was quiet again.

"Give me that!" Avril said, then snatched the phone from Al's grasp and tried to turn it on.

"What the hell?! You used up the battery!!!" She yelled, trying to push the phone buttons, and hitting Al on the shoulder through the dark, I could hear it.

"I did not! It was full last time I checked and no matter how much data I was using, that damn flip phone wouldn't even be at 99%!" She yelled back, hitting her back on the arm.

"Fine. And Pinky?! What the hell! Do you see that blood! We are at a crime scene and we have to pretend like we never were. We need to go and never speak of this again!" Avril yelled. My eyes started to tear up and I whimpered. Al and Avril helped me up and patted them off and backed away from the door.

"No! They're going to know that we were here, and when they find out, they're going to think we did it, and they will chase us down and find and kill us! And what if that was Charlotte?! She could be dead!" Al snapped back, her voice cracking, getting into Avril's face.

"Do not over exaggerate! If we just walk away, we can get away with it! And that could not have been Charlotte, and what if these texts were fake and that blood was fake, it could be a trick? Lets go!" Avril said. I was just standing in between their bickering. So, I slowly started to back away and landed my back on the door. I got a cold chill down my spine and my hairs started to stick up. I didn't know the feeling, but I wasn't going to give up on saving Charlotte. I slowly opened the door, but before I could slide in, Avril heard the creak of the door and turned around with open but nervous eyes. Then she tried to dive for me while I was standing in the middle of the open and dark doorway, but I moved just in time. I heard her yelp and tumble to the ground and ground with pain, probably having carpet burn.

"Pinky?! What the hell?!" She shouted, I think her face was looking at me, but it was too dark to tell. Oh! I know! I can turn the lights on, then I can see Avril's face, and I can find Charlotte.

"Avril! Get out of there! The blood, remember?! Pinky, what are you doing?!" Al yelled from the light of the door. I was already skipping to the light switch.

"I'm going to turn on the light so we can see!" I said while feeling the wall to the light switch.

"No! We need to get out!" Avril's voice yelled, she seemed like she was trying to get back to her feet. I rolled my eyes then finally found it.

"Yes!" I said, then I flipped it on, while hearing Al and Avril freak out and try to stop me.
