Chapter 10

Hayley's POV

Seeing Beau and Lacy kiss really made me really happy inside. Kris and I decided to leave them in peace but we decided to go and sit up in one of the boxes. We sat down on the couch and Kris looked over at me and smiled. I smiled back and him and he moved closer to me. He placed his arm around me and kissed my temple.

I looked at the photo of Beau and Lacy and decided to put it on instagram.

'These two cuties make my heart melt <<3'

I'm glad that Beau and Lacy finally kissed, I mean sure Kris and I actually kissed and we've both pretty much told each other that we like each other, but Lacy planned this whole thing out, she really wanted to surprise Beau and she did just that.

"Hayley, what are we?" Kris asked making me look up at him,

"Whatever you want us to be Kris." I replied. It might have sounded super cheesy, but it was true.

"I want you to be my girlfriend, it's just, I have a son." He whispered in response.

"I totally understand." I whispered back, slightly upset that I won't get to be his girlfriend in case something happens with his ex. I moved away a bit and went on my phone making him groan.

"Hayley. I didn't mean that I don't want you to be my girlfriend. I'm kinda stuck. I want to make sure that you're okay with Alex first but I'm scared of you guys meeting so soon." He admitted. I slightly smiled at him and went back to look at my phone so that I could text one of my good friends back. "C'mon." He announced as he stood up. I looked up at him and furrowed my eyebrows at him. "We're going." I stood up and he took my hand before leading me out to his car. I didn't ask questions, I have probably upset him. Not long after the pretty silent journey, we arrived at an apartment. Kris got out of the car and I followed him. I took in the surroundings, it looked so homely, but it also looked like a very posh hotel too, it was confusing. We got into the elevator and were brought up to a corridor. After walking a short distance, we were stood in front of the door. 

"Kris, you don't have to do this" I quietly told him. He smiled at me and opened the door. 

"Alex!" He shouted making a little brunette boy run up to him.

"Dadda!" The boy shouted back making Kris smile. An oldish woman walked towards us and frowned slightly at the fact that Kris was home early. "Dadda, who the girl?" Alex asked in a whisper.

"Al, this is someone who's very special to daddy." Kris told him making him nod. I knelt down so that I was the height of Alex.

"Hey bud, I'm Hayley." I introduced myself. He smiled at me and hugged me which made me want to melt. 

"Uppies!" He spoke making me pick him up. "Dadda, I watch TV now?"

"Sure thing bud." I walked into the living room with Alex whilst Kris talked to the woman. I sat down on the couch but Alex stayed cuddled up into me. God this kid was adorable. I turned on the TV and saw that it was already on a kids show so I just left it on. I looked down and saw Alex sucking him thumb so I quickly snapped a photo of the adorable kid before sending it to Lacy.

I sent the text and put my phone away before looking at the TV. I had no idea what I was watching, I just decided to go along with it. After a while, my phone buzzed so I picked it up thinking that it was a text from Lacy. It wasn't. It was an instagram notification.
