Hayley's POV

I had arranged with Kris for him and his agent to meet me at my photoshoot. I was in my final outfit which was a blue Faviana dress that was open at the back and I was wearing my silver heels. My hair was straight and I had blue earrings in so I was really dressed up. I loved this aspect of photoshoots, dressing up was amazing because I got to wear some clothes that I could never afford. I started posing and saw Kris and a guy walk through the door. He smiled at me and sat down in a chair before speaking to the guy. I finished doing the shoot and quickly went to get and get changed. I got changed into a tank top kinda thing and some denim shorts before walking out and going over to Kris.

"Hey Letang." I greeted making him smile.

"Hiya Hayley." He said back as he stood up. "Um, this is Kyle. He's my agent." I shook his hand and showed them to my dressing room because it was more private.

"So, guys. As both of you know, you have been practically 'outed' by the press. Now I know that you're not together but it has still been made to look like you are together. Hayley, what are your thoughts and views on this?" Kyle asked me.

"Um, it's kinda bad for my life. I know that's extreme but it is. I'm still slightly close with my ex boyfriend and when he sees all of the articles then he will get mad. Also, I'm being made to look really bad. I feel as though this is going to slowly wreck both mine and Kris' careers." I truthfully said making Kyle nod as he wrote stuff down.

"Kris?"

"I pretty much feel the same about our careers. In my opinion, helping a friend home should be considered as a good thing. I want to be able to say meet up with Hayley and go to get a coffee before work or something but I physically can't do that because rumours will spark up." Kyle once again nodded and wrote what Kris said down.

"Now, I know that facing the public may be hard for a while but I'm going to speak to a few magazines and put in your responses. In the mean time, if you guys wants to continue being friends then you will have to sneak around." Kyle informed us.

"But that will spark up more rumours." I protested. He went to interject but I stopped him. "I have a degree in media studies and journalism. I know what the public want and I know that the media will not stop until they find a story. I know that they will find us and I'm not afraid to put it all straight now." I added before standing up and walking out of the room. I walked past all of the staff and ignored the sly comments before walking out of the building and going into my car. I got on my phone and started to tweet.

'I honestly don't understand why people thing Kris Letang and I are together. We're just friends, simple'

It really angered me. Obviously not that much because I did fancy Kris but still it was frustrating that the public belittled me so much. I knew that more stories would spark up for everything that has happened today so I decided to have about a week off. I was literally planning to not leave my house for a week. I got back to my house quickly, got into some comfier clothes before sitting in front of the TV and watching Impractical Jokers. I needed a good laugh. My dream is to be a pageant competitor and I can't do that if rumours happen every time I'm seen with someone. I literally had no idea what to do. I looked at my phone and saw several texts from friends who had seen the article and one from Kris.

'Hayley, can I come over. I wanna talk to you. This rumour is affecting me too.'
