While I was getting ready for work I heard Calum come out of the bathroom and his footsteps came towards my room. I was only in a towel because I had just gotten out of the shower and was currently doing my makeup. Calum opened my door and his eyes went wide. I don't know why since he has seen me naked.
"Oh, uh, sorry." He struggled to get his words out. "I just wanted to say, next time I'm wanking please don't interrupt me. Thank you." He said rudely before walking out and closing the door before I called him back. I had an idea.
"Wait! Did you know Luke was moving back?" He nodded slowly. "Calum, you love me right?" I asked him with the biggest pout face I could make while batting my eyelashes.
"What do you want, Ar? And yes I do love you." He said folding his arms over his chest.
"I need you to be my fake boyfriend." I said sort of quickly. He gave me a 'what the fuck?' look. Basically asking me to explain. "Look, I don't want Luke to try anything with me when he gets back, because I know if he does I'll fall right into his arms and I've been trying so long to build a wall to block him out. So if you were my 'boyfriend' he wouldn't try anything."
"Sounds to me like you're just trying to make him jealous." He said cocking an eyebrow at me before he walked over to my bed and sitting down.
"Well that's a plus too, but not the main reason. You'll also be able to kiss me again. I know how much you've missed doing that." I said winking at him playfully. Calum and I were both over each other we just like to play with each other by saying we still want to hook up, even though we don't.
"Shut up. But I'll do it under one condition." He began. I nodded telling him to go on. "You can't fall for me." He said winking and wiggling his eyebrows. I laughed at him before assuring that wouldn't happen. He left my room and I began to finish getting ready.

"Cal! I'm home! Please don't be wanking or naked." I said as I kicked off my shoes before walking in to the living room. I saw Cal, Michael and Ash sitting on the couch drinking a few beers. Michael and Ash started laughing while Calum was blushing at what I said.
"Mikey! Ash!" I said before running to them and jumping onto them. They let out a few giggles before engulfing me in a hug.
"Don't hug her guys! She is embarrassing." Calum mumbled the last part while glaring at me. I stuck my tongue out at him and got off the boys so they could make room for me on the couch. I sat between Michael and Ash.
"Here! Have a beer, you've been working too much." Ash said before popping the cap off a Corona and practically shoving it in my face. I gladly took it before drinking it.
"So, Ar, we have to tell you something." Michael said nervously.
"She already knows." Calum interrupted. I gave him a weird look because I didn't know what he was talking about. "Luke." He said.
"Oh, yeah I already know. Calum and I actually have something to tell you." I began. Calum stopped me from saying anything and pulled me into the hallway.
"Are we gonna tell them that were fake dating? Or are we going to act like it's real for them?" Calum asked me in a hushed tone so they wouldn't hear.
"We could just tell them it's fake. I'm only worried about Luke. Plus they are our best friends." I said shrugging.
"Luke is our best friend too." Calum said. I shot him a glare.
"He's you're best friend, not mine." I said to him before we walked back into the living room.
"What were you going to tell us?" Ashton said taking a sip from his beer.
"Calum and I are fake dating. Just so Luke stays away from me, but no one can tell him and if you do, I'll beat you all up." I said seriously. There was a moment of silence before they all busted out laughing.
"What?" I hissed at them. Do they think I'm playing? No, I'll beat them up and they know that.
"You're face was priceless!" Michael said slapping his knee and throwing his head back with laughter. I tried to glare at him before laughing myself.
"I'm laughing so hard I have to pee!" I said while gasping for air. I got up and started walking to the bathroom. I heard the laughter die down and mumbles. I got curious so I waited in the hallway to hear what they were saying.
"Doesn't she know that she's coming home with Luke?" Ashton asked. Who is she?
"Obviously not. If she knew that Luke's girlfriend was moving with his family out here, she would make up the idea to fake date me?"
Luke had a girlfriend? And he's brining her back with him? Why didn't Calum tell me this?
I went to the bathroom and did my business and washed my hands. I stood still and looked at myself in the mirror.
Luke has a girlfriend.
It's not me.
For some reason that really hurt, but I am the one who told him we couldn't be together. Why am I being so jealous and selfish? Should I pretend I didn't hear what they said? Will they tell me?
I decided to pretend I didn't hear what they said. I want to see what happens, and I don't want to get mad at them for not telling me.
I walked out of the bathroom and smiled at them as they all stopped talking and looked up at me plastering fake smiles.
"Uh, hi?" I said laughing nervously before sitting down. "So when is Luke coming?" I asked hoping this would bring them to the girlfriend topic. They glanced at each other nervously.
"His flight comes in at 4:30am." Ashton told me. This soon?! I am not prepared, emotionally and physically.
"Tomorrow morning?" I said with shock in my voice. They all nodded. It was still apparent that they weren't telling me something.
"Uh, is that all? You guys seem distracted." I said pretending I didn't know, when I really did.
I got various 'nopes' and 'nos' from they as they chuckled nervously. Wow, I guess they really aren't going to tell me.
"Well how about we play a little drunken truth or dare?" I smirked devilishly.
