"Hania.... Hania, wake up." I noticed a distorted voice. My vision was blurry, and I couldn't think straight.

"Wha... What?" I managed through a slurred mouth. My vision slowly cleared to show an office. It was filled with typical office supplies, all except for the symbol that represented Morphaíma Headquarters. I was in the office of Sennett Draven, the master of my region, and the grandfather of my pack leader. He had the most power over my pack, and has free reign of that power, just like his grandson. I guess the apple truly doesn´t fall far from the tree.

Sennett was sitting at his desk, staring at me with a menacing expression, as if I were a scrap of meat thrown to the dogs. Somehow I got the feeling that this little meeting I woke up to won't be a pleasant one.

Zeke was also staring at me, as he leaned on his grandfather's desk. He had a tired expression, and it made me feel like my face was boring him. Not the greatest compliment, but then again I don't get many complements from Zeke.

In between a yawn Zeke said "So grandfather, shall we get this over with?" He continued with his sleepy looks, while tapping his fingers on the desk as if the setting was irritating him. Well, the tapping sure was irritating me...

"Don't forget, Zeke that you gathered the three of us together. Now will you start what you've brought Miss Jones and I here for. I may know what this is about, but it's not my job to explain to Hania here why you decided to knock her out." The master talked to Zeke as if he were a newborn calf learning to walk on wobbly legs. For once, Zeke wasn't being praised, but it made me wonder why I was truly here.

Zeke sighed, and pulled a chair over, so that he was sitting between Sennett and I, and could talk to both of us as a group. "First I'd like to say that it wasn't my fault, and you should try not to get mad..." Well this sounded like a load of bull shit. "I brought you here so that I could tell you a few things that are very important. Number one: I wrecked your car last night..." He ended that statement with an innocent smile. That innocent smile was getting him nowhere.

"Wait, what?!?! You.. but how did you get into my car?" I could feel my cheeks burn, and a rage inside me that only came out when Zeke did something stupid, and this was definitely one of those times.

"Uh, I picked the lock, and hot wired it..." He managed sheepishly. I could tell he was trying to be as nice about it as he could, which was a rare occurrence. Since he made this glorious rarity, I understood that whatever he drug me here for was important. I tried to calm myself down, knowing if I got in an argument it'd get us nowhere.

"Just... continue... What does my car have to do with this?" I asked him, managing not to frown when I ended my question.

"Ah..." He managed. His expression showed that he was surprised that I was being nice about my car. "Well, last night, I decided to take your car for a spin, I wanted to see how it drove. While I was driving, grandfather called to notify me of a new finding he was notified of from the Board of Elders. They found a new form of Morphaíma." He looked at me with a serious expression, waiting for my reaction. The only thing I could think was complete shock, and confusion.

How could there be a new form of Morphaíma? We have only seven forms. The records go back before the 1500s, and spread across the entire world. This is impossible, or next to impossible it seems. I looked towards Sennett to see what his reaction was. His face was calm, but concerned. I wondered what this meant to him. He's lived his entire life creating packs that connect and can work together, and now there's a whole new side of what we are. This seems to mess with the order of things. Even for a pack like mine, where we're still missing a form to make our pack complete, it's still tipping the scale for us all.
