Dear Lex,
When i saw kyle today, he ignored me at lunch, in all our classes, and even after school. I tried to call him but he ignored that too so i decided go to the gas station to see Michael. Qhen i got to the gas station i saw Michael putting away drinks. "Hey, Kylie!" He said grabbing a Monster and a beer. "Hey, Michael!" I zaid sitting myself on top the counter and changed the radio station. "How are you?" He asked opening his beer. "I'm fine." I said. "You remind me so much of your mother. She was beautiful, just like you." He said grabbing us a candy bar. "Thank you, Michael." I said grabbing the candy. He was my mothers best friend, like you were to me Lex. "So Friday night I'll be over at 7 to watch the kids." He said. "What? I'll be home and i don't plan on leaving." I said confused. "Yeah you do it's prom on Friday!" He said. "I don't have a dress or a date." I said. "You can go with that weird kid who was here the other day." He said. "I still couldn't afford a dress." I said as he got up and left. When he got back he had a black lace dress in his hands. "It was your mother's. She told me that when she died she wanted to be buried in it but that was when she was 16 but i think it will fit you." He said handing me the dress. "Thank you." I said pulling him into a hug. I wish you were here Lex.Love, Kylie.
