Dear Lex,
I sat with kyle on the yard today. He told me a beautiful quote. "Don't try to save an angel if you can't even save yourself." I loved the quote. He has helped me so much Lex. Later that day we picked up the kids and went back to my mother's old house. We got dinner and we played music. Afterwards we went to the park with the kids. They played on the slides and swings while me and Kyle sat on top of the monkey bars and talked. He asked about you Lex. He asked what you were like and i respond with "Lex is the best person i have ever met. She was gone in a instant but she was a fighter. Lex had my back no matter what. When i was sick she brought me soup. When i was absent from school she would call me asking where i was. Lex was my everything, i just wish i had died instead of her." I felt a tear roll down my cheek. Then a hurricane of tears bursted from my eyes. Kyle pulled me into a hug and ran his fingers through my hair to calm me down. I felt love for the first time today Lex, It was true love.
