A Simple Game

It was all prepared for them. But the brown haired boy was still confused. He kept asking the black haired boy 'where are we going?'. But he just answered, 'we'll be there in a while.'  He wanted to make it perfect, the most unforgettable moment of his life.

"We're here!" The black haired boy announced as he stopped the car and parked in front of a beach. The brown haired boy looked through the window and was amazed, with his mouth partially opened. The beach was decorated with candles, lighting up the night sky. There were fairy lights hanging from tree to tree making a cool light up. The sound of the quiet, crashing waves, matching with the scenery. There was even a small hammock that looks perfect for two.

The black haired boy got out of his car and went to the door of the brown haired boy. He opened the door and immediately he was engulfed in a hug and wet spots on his shoulders.

"You didn't need to do this Phil!" The brown haired boy said thinking how long this must have taken. He's tears of happiness slowly falling through his cheek.

"I do! You earned all of this Dan." Phil assured as he wiped the tears off Dan's cheeks. Phil then intertwined his fingers with Dans and walked down to the sand, their rubber shoes putting marks on it.

They sat on the hammock, slowly rocking it like a crib. Phil spoke up which made Dan have a huge smile stuck to his face and tears of joy falling down his cheeks.

"Hey, um Dan. Remember when we first met? You were a subscriber or fan of my channel and we met in the tube. I told you to make a channel too! But in reality, I really wanted to communicate more with you and I thought it could be easier if you make a channel too! We had the same interest and I was already in love with you. I was falling for you but I didn't notice that much. But soon after, you did too. How about our first video together? We had so much fun together and we both confessed to each other! I was happy, I really was. But we kept it as a secret, we thought people would judge us. I remember those old memories.. But it just makes me explore for new memories.. Just like this one." Phil ended his speech and Dan already had tears falling from his eyes and a huge smile plastered into his face.

Phil went on one knee and reached for a small black box in this pockets. He opened it and it revealed a beautiful, shiny silver ring. There was a small writing engraved into the ring that said '2009-forever' in the back.

"Daniel James Howell, will you be my AmazingDan?" Phil asked with a huge smile and hope and passion in his eyes.

Dan looked at everything and knew this was exactly what he had ever dreamed of. He remembered explaining to Phil when they weren't together yet about his dream. This was exactly it. A shoreside view, a small resting area, fairy lights and candles - lighting up the area, and of course the most beautiful person kneeling in front of him with hope and passion.

He didn't know what to do. He knew that he has to say yes. This was like a living dream for him.

He covered his mouth as tears fell out of his eyes, tears of joy. All he could do is sob happiness, smile, and just nod. He cannot say anything. Words couldn't explain everything he wanted to say to his amazing boyfriend.

Phil rose in happiness, shouted victory, and immediately dove to Dan into a hug, a loving, warm hug that could comfort anyone.

They had a long, passionate kiss after. Phil got the ring from the black box and placed it on Dan's ring finger. Dan immediately caught Phil's lips which made air escape Phil's lungs.

"Phil, this is amazing.. I-I cannot explain how much I love you right now. How did you find this place? It's all perfect!! So, you did listen to me that day.." Dan said to Phil after they kissed. They were now lying down on the hammock together while Phil slowly rocking it with his arm.
