Chapter 4

"Give it up, Mimi!" Philip demanded, giving Mimi a jolt that knocked her to the ground.

"Philip, have you been following me?" Mimi asked.

"Yes, Mimi. I don't trust you!" Philip told her. "So, you're pregnant."

"You heard everything!" Mimi said, afraid of what Philip would do now."

"We're going to be a real family now." Philip said, surprising Mimi with a kiss. "Nothing can tear us apart again!"

As Philip escorted Mimi back to the Kiriakis mansion, Shawn spied them as they left the Java Café. Shawn was worried for Mimi's safety, but it would have to wait as an amorous Belle demanded his attention.

"C'mon, Shawn." Belle said in between kisses. "Let's go home and have some fun."

Shawn and Belle went home and Belle managed to get him into bed. But Mimi was all Shawn could think about.

Meanwhile, Philip had gotten Mimi back to Kiriakis mansion and had convinced her to go up to their room where he also managed to make love to her. As Mimi reluctantly let Philip touch her, she managed to let herself think it was Shawn making love to her instead. Everything went well until Mimi accidentally called out Shawn's name instead of Philip's.

At the mention of Shawn's name, Philip became enraged and left their bedroom, locking the door with Mimi inside.

"Stay in there until you come to your senses!" Philip yelled through the door.

Fortunately for Mimi, Philip didn't take Mimi's cell that was conveniently lying on the bedside table.

"Shawn, you have to help me!" Mimi cried with urgently as soon as she heard Shawn's voice.

"Mimi, what's wrong?" Shawn asked concerned.

"It's Philip!" Mimi said almost in a whisper so Philip wouldn't hear in case he was outside the door.

"What did he do now!"

"He locked me in our bedroom!"

"I'm on my way!" Shawn said before Mimi could warn him.

Philip laughed as Mimi played right into his hands. Philip went downstairs to wait for Shawn.
