Scarlet and Wolf feed ducks, yaaaaay.

(I feel bad for not updating this one so here you go)

Wolf whined like a puppy.

Scarlet thought it was cute the first seventeen times, but it was starting to get annoying. Her shoulders tensed with annoyance and her fingers curled in the gravel. A serene line of ducks was gliding across a lake in from of her, their swimming disrupting its mirror-like surface.

"No, Wolf. You can't eat one of them," she said. He was beside her, his green eyes wide in a pathetic attempt to look cute. Okay, he did look a little cute, but Scarlet shook of fthe feeling.

"But we did it that one time," he begged, drawing his knees up to his head. "Remember? In the forest?"

"Yes," Scarlet replied impatiently. "But that was in a forest, this is a public park." She ripped open a package of bread, shoving some slices into Wolfs hands. He stared at them like he'd never seen bread before.

"We feed them," Scarlet said, pointing to the ducks, who must have discovered the bread and were now swimming towards them.

Hurt flashed across Wolf's face. "They get to be fed while I'm hungry? That hardly seems fair."

"They're not being annoying," Scarlet countered, ripping a bit of bread from one of her slices and throwing it to the nearest duck. It stumbled toward the piece and gobbled it up in one quick snap of its beak.

Wolf seemed to be tired of the argument. He propped his elbows on his knees, resting his chin in his hands. He ate one piece of the bread in a single gulp, and threw another at the ducks. It hit one's head, and the bird quacked indignantly. Scarlet hid a laugh behind her hand.

"You're supposed to break it into smaller pieces," she explained, ripping another bit off her slice and throwing it at the ducks, who had grouped close around them.

"Ugh," Wolf complained, falling onto his back. "Why are we doing this."

Scarlet joined him. Falling back into the grass beside him. "It's supposed to be fun."

Wolf looked to his side at her, scowling. "This is not fun."

"Well, what do you wanna do then."

Wolf thought for a couple seconds. "I wanna eat something."

Scarlet rolled over on top of him, putting her finger on his nose. "You wanna have lunch?" Wolf nodded, his eyes crossed.

Scarlet removed her finger and stood. "Alright, fine. We won't feed the ducks."

Wolf jumped up, looking amazed. "Really? You're gonna agree with me for once?"

Scarlet sent him a scowl. "Don't push it. Where do you want to go?"

"I don't know. I kinda want duck now."
