"You know, I've never seen anything near what happened to you today-when you were claimed." Piper said as we were finishing getting ready, "My friend, Leo...he had something like that, but not like that." She said gaining a saddened tone. This Leo guy must have been important.

"What do you mean? Whats different?" I asked, a little bewildered. "Just that you seem to be all about fire, Leo was kinda a midpoint of building and fire, he could create fireballs with his hands." She replied, as she stood up, "All done! Lets get out there!"

This Leo guy...I wonder what happened to him.

The Bonfire:

I was surprised to see everyone in camp at once, in the same place. The bonfire was set up very quickly, I was only getting ready with Piper for about an hour. Where did they get all of these sticks and wood pieces?

Everyone was talking and I knew most of the conversations were about why we were having the bonfire in the first place, me.

I was staying with Piper, Jason and their friends Percy and Annabeth the whole time. "Ashley you really should walk around and use this chance to meet everyone. Especially the people from the Hephaestus cabin." Piper said, snapping me away from my thoughts. "No, no. I'm fine here, with you guys." I said glancing around nervously, I hated being the center of attention and I normally avoided it, when I actually could, of course.

Annabeth was watching me with such annoyance in her eyes, like she couldn't figure me out, "You should at least go get a drink." She said, "It should help to calm you down." I looked at her with a confused mind until I gave into what she offered, "I guess you're right, I'll be right back." I said to everyone walking towards the table with drinks on it.

I picked up a cup of strange green liquid, other people were drinking it so I thought I might as well try it. The instant it touched my tongue I fell in love with it's sweet bubbly taste. "I see you're enjoying the soda." A familiar voice laughed from behind me, I turned to see... Johnny. I had a huge crush on him in 8th grade before I moved away. God he is so hot...shit, I'm turning into a Aphrodite child more and more as I hang out with Piper. "Johnny?!" I looked at him shocked expression and all, "What are you doing here?" He looked at me with a sexy smirk, "The same as you, my dad is a Greek god as well-Apollo to be exact." He looked at be with a tad bit of confusion in his eyes, "I never expected a cute girl like you to be a child of Hephaestus-" he was cutoff mid-sentence by Chiron. "Ashley? We need to talk about something follow me please." Chiron commanded me sternly, and I calmly waved goodbye to Johnny and followed him.

"You need to see the Oracle, she is in the attic of the Big House." He said pointing up to the roof of the building, "You must go alone, but I will wait here for when you come back. Go now."

I went up the Big House slowly. I finally found the attic entrance and went up. I instantly smelt the scent of moldy an rotting wood, this place is disgusting. They really need a maid. The attic was full of old stuff everywhere, I saw tons of shiny things I was tempted to touch but restrained myself. I slowly made my way though the attic until I saw it, a casket against the wall.

I approached the death box and placed both hands on the lid and pushed open the wooden lid. Suddenly all of the candles in the attic lit at once and a mysterious womanly voice began speaking:

Ah! Hello, bright one. I have been awaiting your arrival for some time now. How kind of you to finally show up.

Tell me now, what is it you seek?

I began speaking quietly, "I... I want to know what my future holds." I said shakily as the voice began speaking again.

Geez calm down. I won't hurt you. The future might, but I won't. I'm dead so...even if I wanted to, I couldn't do anything to you. Anyway, the future you seek, the future you shall receive.
