-Isabella's POV:-

*Three Weeks Later*

It's been three weeks.

Three weeks since I've last seen him.

Three weeks since I've last touched him.

Three weeks since he's been dead.

Wiping my tears, I continue washing the dishes while staring into the garden where my father lay.

His ashes buried under a small patch, dressed with flowers and small precious ornaments.

When he passed away he had written that he wished to be cremated.

He was always against burial though.

He used to always say he rather be cremated than laying underground where the insects would eat away at him.

I guess it was just his personal choice really.

I refused to spread his ashes at a normal graveyard or wash them away. But then against I refused to scatter them in a small area in my garden. Thus I had them in a small clay pot that was buried. In worry of ever having to leave, I didn't scatter them because even if I had to leave this home I could take him with me.

Some may question the morality in that but to me, that was all I had of him.

I didn't want to lose him.

Closing the tap I trudge up the stairs to get ready for an evening at the cafe.

Yeah they told me to take it easy but I wasn't going to sit and mule in the house. Hence my choice of trying to continue being normal. Key word trying.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-

"Hey princess" Adam smiles as he opens the door for me to sit in his car.

"Hey Adam. Thanks for the lift" I smile back.

I told Adam about the jobs. He wasn't please but he wasn't against it either. He knew it had to be done.

"You look pretty" he responds smirking and I blush crimson before light slapping his arm.

"Hey! Driving here!" he grins whilst changing gear and speeding forward.

Rolling my eyes at him, I stick my tongue out and giggle.

"Are you sure you're up for working?" he asks as he comes to a stop at a red light.

"Of course. It's better than sitting home and crying" I shrug and look at my fingers.

Mumbling incoherently I see him sighing.

"Don't forget you're coming to mine for dinner tomorrow night. And no excuses its Friday so you have a day off" he smirks at me and winks before turning his attention back to the road and pulling up outside the cafe.

"I know, your mother and sister wouldn't let me live if I dint come" I shake my head and smile.

"Well they think its tradition now that you come and spend Fridays with us" he rolls his eyes and undoes his belt.

Giggling I undo my own belt before waiting for him to open my door.

"Gentleman as per" I smirk as he helps me out.

"Even if it's dropping you off to work, I will still open your door" he smiles at me as he closes the door and wraps his arms around my waist.

"I'll see you later?" he asks as he looks at me with a cute questionable look.
