It was the day after that little conversation with Kelley about me staring at Alex, while apparently 'biting my lip' not that I actually was...well maybe. I had the whole conversation stuck in my head since the moment I woke up, which was like 30 minutes ago. I think I might've dreamed about it too, oh god. I was in my hotel room, alone. I decided to grab my room keys and my cellphone, walking out heading downstairs to eat breakfast where I met up with the team. "Ayee!" everyone said. "Hey!" I laughed. I grabbed a bagel and some cream cheese with a cup of orange juice and sat down next to Sydney, "hey syd." "Hey Tobin, have you seen Alex?" Every time I heard the name 'Alex' a huge smile would spread across my face, ear to ear, well because I seemed to have a crush on her, wait! NO! I would never crush on my best friend, never! But anyways I answered Sydney with a "No, actually. Doesn't she share a room with you?" "Yeah, she does, but I woke up with her not in there." I got a little worried, but kept chewing on my bagel. "Well, have you texted her?" I suggested, "yeah! Still no reply." I stood up and ran out, my best friend couldn't have gone missing, no! I walked down every hall, then to the next floor and repeated what I was doing until I was on her floor and turned around, falling on top of someone. Alexxxx, it was Alexxxx. "Oh, uh Alex, I'm sorry..." I said with a raspy voice. "Tobin, it's fine..." it had just been me and her, I was on top of her on the floor staring into her sparkly glowing blue eyes, when I was leaning in and she asked "Tobin..." I said "Alex...Alex! I'm sorry, I swear I didn't mean to do that, please don't get mad" I was hesitating. "Tobin, it's fine, but can you get off and help me up at least?" She said chuckling, "Oh right." I stood up and held out a hand, she grabbed on and stood up. "You okay?" I asked. "Yeah, I think" she smirked. "Do you want to hang out later, just us?" I shouldn't have asked that, it just made it sound weird, really Tobin 'just us' cmon Tobin. I was waiting for a response from Alex, finally she answered, "Yeah, I'm cool with that." I was so happy she said yes.
We headed downstairs and to the cafeteria to finish up breakfast and of course "Omg! Alex where have you been?!" Came Sydney running up and hugging her. "Syd I was just checking out stores around here and didn't you see the note I left at the door?!" She was laughing. "Oh? You left a note? Well silly me didn't notice it! Sorry Alex." Sydney said with a little embarrassment. Alex walked away with Sydney to sit down and chat with the team, I just walked out to go to the bathroom. I entered the bathroom and Kelley had followed. I turned around and looked at her "What are you doing here" I mean it was a Public bathroom and all, but she seemed to just walk in to talk to me, which I thought was creepy. "Tobin, do you have feelings for Alex?" Here comes the pressure again. "No, Kelley I don't, she's my be—" I got cut off by a kiss, a kiss from my ex, her soft lips on mine, moving in sync. I couldn't help, but to just make it better by wrapping my arms around her waist and pulling her in closer. I kept questioning myself in the head "Why am I kissing her if I don't even like her anymore?" I added "or do I still...?" I pushed away...asking "Kelley...what was that for?" "Tobin, I'm just worried that you like Alex and right when you were about to tell me that you didn't because you guys are best friends I just had to kiss you, I missed you and your kisses, hugs, waist grabbing, everything! I'm sorry Tobin..." I was angered at her, I couldn't believe she would just kiss me out of no where, I mean there was nothing else to do, but to walk out and so I did.
