Dear diary, 11/28/15
It's been a month since my parents died, a month since I let the vampires out, a month since me and Damon could truly be together I love him so much and I can tell he loves me just as much no he hasn't said it yet and neither have I but we will when the time comes today is the funeral I have to get ready.
Goodbye, Elena.
Elena put her diary away and smoothed her dress and looked at herself in the mirror she sighed.
"Elena baby you ready" Damon asked walking into her room.
She nodded.
"Yea let's go" Elena said grabbing her purse and they left with Enzo.
At the funeral
They walked into the church and sat down the first three.
When everyone got there the funeral started.
"Family, Friends we are here today to remember Miranda and Grayson Gilbert" the preacher said.
"Miranda and Grayson were... Very important to our community... They helped with problems only one dream to understand... They raised a beautiful girl... Elena Gilbert who will be saying a few choice words" he added.
Elena stood and walked to the alter.
"Hello I'm Elena... My parents were... Unbelievable to many people... I came here today to say goodbye and to bury people not just to my parents but... To the... Old Elena... The old Elena was the sad little girl that had lost her grandmother her aunt and... Her twin sister... The old Elena was bullied at school... This new Elena that I am making today is no longer haunted by those memories no longer going to be bullied at school... The new Elena will make a change in the world... Today everyone is coming up to me yet again to say 'I'm sorry for your loss'... When in reality" Elena looked at everyone.
"None of you really are... Your sorry for your loss not mine yours you are sorry for losing your business friends not your parents you knew the work version of my parents not my parents" Elena said.
She soon started crying Damon ran to the alter and sat her back down.
The preacher went back to the alter.
"Elena is right... We knew Miranda and Grayson Gilbert we did not know mom and dad Gilbert we are sorry you feel that way Elena but you are right" the preacher said and soon the funeral ended and Elena Gilbert buried Miranda Grayson and Elena Gilbert
