Im sorry i havent posted in forever, im horrible. but here is an update (:

and we are coming up to the last few chapters of the story. soooo yeah. You guys might hate me for the next few chapters though. there will be a HUGE twist. :c hehehe >:D

It was silent in my house, but it didnt really bother me all that much. I was glad to have some time to myself. I never really had a chance to just be by myself and relax and think my life over. My life had become so busy.

Prom was coming up and we were all really excited about it, except i didnt really think i would be going. I didnt think Yale wanted to go, so i wasnt going to force him into it. and to be honest i wasnt feeling up to it.

"MORRISON!" My front door opened(my bad, forgot to lock it.. wont make that mistake again) and in popped Alexis.

"You arent going to prom?!" She asked me. "YOU NEED TO GO."

"I dont want toooo."

"You have tooooo." She mocked me. "get your lazy ass up. We are going dress shopping."

"But i havent been asked yet." I said sadly. It was true. We only had a week till prom and i still hadnt been asked yet. I assumed Yale didnt want to go because he didnt ask.

"So? Even if you dont have a date you can still go." I sighed. She was right. I slipped on my shoes, grabbed my wallet and followed her out to her car.

Once we got to the mall we began the great hunt.

I tried on about twenty dresses, none of them really catching my eye until the last one. It was gorgeous. It was a long white silk dress that made me feel like a goddess and made my tan stand out more. I had to get it.

"Its perfect!" Alexis squealed. She wore a mint colored one that was one shouldered with a little crystal clip at the shoulder. She looked gorgeous in it.

We bought our dresses and continued on to find accessories when i recieved a text from Yale.

Hang out later?

I smiled. Maybe he'd ask me when we hung out.

Yea :D

When Alexis dropped me off at my house I ran up stairs to search my closet for something to wear that was casual, but still made me look irresistable. I was brain dead on what to wear so i just put on a cute frilly skirt and a oversized sweater.  I slipped on my beloved boots and waited for Yale to come over and pick me up. The door bell rang and i rushed over and opened it with a smile on my face, to see Yale looking down and smiling back at me.

"Hey mittens. missed you." He winked at me before grabbing my hand and pulling me out to his car. We drove over to the diner and ordered our food.

"So what did you do to day?" He asked me nonchalantly.

I raised an eyebrow. He was kind of acting.. normal. "Uh i went dress shopping with Alexis."

"Dress shopping...?"

"For prom.. Saturday.."

"Thats THIS saturday?!" I sighed. What an idiot.

"Duh. There are posters ALL over the school.. do you not read?"

"Not unless i need to." He scratched the back of his head. "Sooo uh... Want to go to prom with me?" He held up both his thumbs and shot me a cheesey smile. how could i say no?
