PROLOGUE

                          
I tried to suppress my tears while staring at the same man who is lying in the hospital bed. Running for his life. 

                          
His skin is so pale. His pinkish lips turned pale too. And even the glow in his face is now gone. 

                          
My King is slowly taking deep breaths like he's loosing it. 

                          
And I can't do anything for him. 

                          
I'm sorry, my King. 

                          
"Young lady, such a stubborn woman. Haven't I told you to leave my son?! Now look what you've done! You ruined him when he doesn't even deserve any of this!" His father snapped angrily at me. I held back my tears. 

                          
"P-patawad po, s-sir. H-hindi ko ho----" I tried to explain but he just glared at me. I clasped my hands together, covering my swollen tummy. 

                          
My baby...

                          
"I don't want to see your face once I come back! You understand?! You have no rights of bringing yourself here when you're the reason why he's like this! I can't stand such naive ness!" His voice roared all over the room. 

                          
I kneeled. I looked up at him with pleading stare but he just shrugged me off. Instead, he stood arrogantly before me like enjoying the view. My eyes were now filled with tears. 

                          
"Alam ko hong napakalaki ng kasalanan ko sa anak niyo. P-pero nagmamakaawa ho ako... b-bigyan niyo pa ho ako ng pagkakataong masilayan siya bago pa po siya g-gumising. A-aalis rin ho ako. Isang huling pagkakataon pa ho. Hayaan niyo akong alagaan siya bago siya gumising at pagkatapos ay... ay aalis rin ho ako. Hindi na po ako magpapakita sa inyo at sa anak niyo... pangako!" I sobbed while pleading. I was now holding the hem of his expensive pants but he just kicked my hands off. I stumbled in the hospital wall. But I managed to save my womb and kneeled again. 

                          
"Okay. I'm allowing you to take care of my son. But you need to keep your promise. You'll leave even before he wakes up. If you try to disobey me, then welcome yourself in jail!" 

                          
For my baby, I will endure all these pains.
