Chapter 10

Jesslyn POV

I had woken up eager to get to know Maxine better.

I rushed out of bed to take a quick shower, and get ready.

When I was all clean and dressed, I went downstairs to be greeted by everyone.

"Morning guys! Do we have any plans for today?" I asked.

"No, but is there anything specific you want to do?" Liam said.

I shook my head, "Whatever you guys wanna do, I'm completely okay with."

"Amusement park!" Louis shouted.

Everyone nodded eagerly except me.

I absolutely hate roller coasters for two reasons: 1) they are to compacted and the tight space freaks me out, and 2) the height, enough said. Since I didn't want to ruin anyone's fun, I put on my best 'happy face'.

When we got there I could feel my hands starting to shake, and the sweat was slowly prickling on the back of my neck. I hadn't realized that I stopped walking, until Harry ran up to me.

I stayed frozen in my spot, swallowing the dry lump in my throat,while staring up at the park.

Harry started shaking my shoulders, while giving me a concerned face, "Jess?"

"Huh? Yeah. I'm fine."

"That's a lie. You're completely terrified. I can see it in your face."

I stuck my tongue out, "Am not!"

He chuckled at my childish actions, "Don't worry. I am too."

"You are?" I said looking up at him.

"Guilty." he replied, raising his hands above his head.

"So what do we do then?" I asked leaning against a wall.

Harry POV

An idea ha popped into my head when he asked the question.

"Well what if we did our own thing?" I asked her.

"Own thing? Sure. I don't see why we shouldnt!"

My smile grew as I shot a text to Niall.

To: Niall

Soooo I found out that Jesslyn is afraid of roller coasters. We're gonna do our own thing. :)

From: Niall

To: Harry

Ok, just PLEASE Harry keep her safe. You know how much she means to me.

From: Harry

To: Niall

No worries mate. :) you know I wouldn't let anything happen to her. Meet you in front in a few hours

"Okay! Ready to go?" I smiled looking down at her.

She nodded her head quickly, and grabbed my hand.

"Where to?" I asked.

"Anywhere." she replied.

First, we went to a stand where you throw the balls at the milk jugs. We both failed miserably, but the fun never seemed to end.

After a while, we got some candy floss, and sat on a bench out front waiting for the others, while picking at the treat.

"Thank you Harry. This day was absolutely amazing!"

I smiled, "I'm glad you enjoyed yourself."

Jesslyn POV

I had really enjoyed myself with Harry.

When everyone had come back, we packed up.

When we were in the car, I took he opportunity to get to know Maxine better.

She looked up from her phone, putting it away.

"Can I ask you a personal question?" she asked with sincerity.

I nodded in response.

"Well I was told somethings, but not everything. If you don't mind me asking, what happened?"

"Well what do you know?"

She became a tad quiet, "What your dad did. How the boys save you. What had happened," she pointed at my wrists, "And the accident."

"Yeah 'saved'" I said placing air quotes around saved.

"Why the air quotes?"

"It was more of a kidnapping." I stated saying kidnapping much louder.

Niall had turned around in his seat, "Well if you didn't, struggle it wouldn't have been so bad."

"It's not everyday someone like me, who isn't worth anything, gets snatched up. Especially by someone I wasn't to fond of." By this time we had reached the house.

I walked out of the car slightly agitated.

"Wait Jess," Niall grabbed my wrist, "You are so worth it. Don't ever think you aren't."

"Then why?"

"Why what?"

"Why did you bully and torment me, making me feel like crap?"

He looked down, "Because I loved you."

I know I was supposed to update yesterday. Don't hate me.

This was written on my iPod and im too lazy to edit it, so sorry for any mistakes.
