~Paige POV~
"Paige where is my dinner?" yelled my dad from the dining room. "Almost done daddy," I replied. He stood up and slammed his chair into the dining table then stomped his way toward me. He grabbed my face and looked into my eyes, "Paige you call me by Sir' got it?" I nodded, "Yes sir." "Better," he said walking to sit back down at his chair. I looked and saw my mom watching T.V and cradling Josh in her arms.
"Thanks for the help," I thought to myself. I cooked dad dinner and sat it at the table. He ate it and commanded me to do dishes. While doing my dishes my phone rang and dad picked it up, "Who is this?" he yelled. Then there was a faint muffle in the phone. "Alexis, who?" he said. Another muffle. "Baker, well she'll have to get back to you bye." he hung up then threw my phone at the T.V. "Did I ever say that you could have friends?" he said coming at me and squeezing my face again. "No...no sir," I said. "Then don't," he said and let go.
~Reid POV~
I ran into the kitchen and grabbed some toast and a pork-chop off the counter. "Thanks mom," I said kissing her forehead. "You boys I swear," she said cleaning up some juice that spilled out of Alexander's slippy-cup. "Mom you have six kids the dudes can't all be the bad ones?" I said taking a bite of my pork chop. "Between you, Jay, Skylar, Roxanne, Tiff, and Alex I have no time for anything anymore," said mom picking up Tiff and giving her chocolate milk.
I patted mom on the back and headed into the dining room. where all of my family was gathered either, eating like a pack of wild dogs or texting on their phones. I sat next to Sky and Jay who were having a stuff my face contest, Sky was winning of course. That girl won the pie eating contest last year hands down. "You suck Sky," said Jay taking a drink of his punch. "Ah, poor little baby about to cry," said Sky making a pouty face. He slapped her on the arm and before you knew it they were wrestling.
I rolled my eyes and looked over at Roxy who was texting on her phone, probably to her boyfriend, Jax. "Rox, who you textin?" I asked. "Non-ya," she said. "I don't think I know him," I replied with a chuckle. "Hardie Hardie Harr," she teased, "It's Jax." I nodded and began to eat my pork chops.
~Paige POV~
"Paige get ready for school!" yelled my dad. "I will Sir," I yelled back. I changed into a jean jacket and a black tank-top under it, I also put on a pair of skinny jeans and black converses. I wasn't really popular I just had one friend, Alexis Baker which I wasn't suppose to have. I couldn't have friends, boys, or boyfriends.
"Paige come on NOW!" Yelled my dad stomping down the stairs. I grabbed my backpack and ran downstairs. "Bout' time let's go," he said
I hopped into my dad's old convertible and we drove to school. About half way to school he said, "Now no friends, no boys, no boyfriends," he said trying to light a cigarette while driving. "I know sir," I said coughing from the smoke. "Oh shut up you little baby," said my dad flicking his cigarette smoke and ash at me. "OWW!" I yelled, "That burned dad." He widened his eyes and pulled over. "Oh no," I thought. He lifted up his right hand, and slapped me across the face, "You call me by SIR young lady," he yelled. I nodded and tried to speak, "Ye- Yes S- Sir," I said crying.
I hopped out of my dad's car and ran to the school's bathroom. I pulled out my foundation and put it over the bruise on my eyes. I slipped on some waterproof mascara and a little lip gloss. I texted Alexis on my now cracked phone and told her to meet me in the bathroom.
She came in and hugged me, "Paige, what did he do to you this time," she said faintly touching my eye. I shivered, "He slapped me," I replied. "Someone needs to cuss that guy out," said Alexis. I nodded and hugged Alexis...my only friend.
~Reid POV~
"Mom were ready!" I yelled from the bathroom to the living room. "Okay get in the van," yelled my mom. "Mom don't say that, Oh my god!" I said with a chuckle. "Reid will you ever grow up," said my mom with a chuckle.
I walked to the van and sat in the front while, Jay and Sky were sitting in the back texting each other and Roxie listening to music on her phone. Tiffany and Alexander in their car-seats and drinking their bottles.
Mom hopped into the car looking half-done and slapped her coffee cup in the holster. "Oh my god, we have got to get gas," she said backing out of the driveway. We drove to the gas-station and got gas.
We arrived at school late and I got out of the car. "Bye mom," I said walking backwards. I ran into someone who yelled, "Ouch!" "Oh I'm so sorry," I said helping the girl pick up her books. "It's okay I should have moved out of the way," said the girl. "No, I shouldn't have been walking backwards," I said. She was pretty she had dark brown hair and light blue eyes. She gave me a faint smile and I noticed a bruise on her eye. "What happened to your eye?" I asked. She grabbed her face and said, "Nothing." "You can tell me," I said. "I just met you," she said. "How bout we get to know eachother how bout a date Friday night my place?" I asked. "No, I- I don't date just forget I ever said anything," she said then ran away.
