Chapter 7

Mark woke me up by shaking me, I must've fell asleep while listening to ken and mark talk last night. I remember bits and pieces of the conversation ,but one stuck to my mind and I kept repeating it over and over in my head.

-flashback-

"So you guys met by breaking into her house?" ken asked.

" Yes" mark says.

"But you could've been caught and killed" ken says slightly confused.

" I was caught by her but I didn't get returned in" mark says and glances at me, half asleep.

" So in the end she let you stay and she feed you"

"Yes, she promised to protect me as long as I was in her house"

"Then why is she still with you?" ken asks.

" Because she's in this mess with us, now"

" Because?" ken asks.

" She kept me hidden and safe, she broke two rules"

" Oh... poor girl, too bad there's not enough people in the world like her" ken says and glances at me.

" What do you mean?" mark asks with confusion in his voice.

" I mean: she protected a banned youtuber, she put her life on the line and now she's with you, probably still protecting you."

" I don't think she's protecting anyone.. I don't mean that as a insult but it seems like she's just waiting it out, kind of"

" Waiting it out?" it was kens turn to be confused.

" Yeah, like she was Jake, he waited his time out until he died" mark says, I want to cut in but I also wanted to know where this conversation was going so I kept my mouth shut and listened.

" Who's Jake?" ken asked and mark explained. " oh... so she's waiting for her time until she dies" ken says.

" Something like that" mark says.

"But how do you know he's dead?'

" I don't I'm just assuming."

-flash back ends-

"Where are we?" I yawn out and stand up with marks help.

"Ohio!" ken says and opens the door to sun light. I squeeze my eyes shut and then open them.

" What are we doing here, besides running away?" I ask as I jumped out of the cart and onto the train plat form.

" Well the train took us here. but ken heard a rumor about there being a safe house for youtubers" mark whispers and keeps his head down as he jumped out of the train, I followed.

" So your following rumors? mark, the rumors could lead to a trap." I say as I walk with them to a alley between stores. wait, stores? I looked up from the ground as I peeked into a store front window. It had TV's in the window, showing the news and a lady saying something about youtubers being captured, my eyes widened as I saw some footage of-

"Hey" I turn around to a voice that I hadn't heard in days. " Um, do you know where I am?" the guys face, always looked down to the ground.

" Hello" Mark's voice snapped me out of staring at the guy. " Wade?" Mark whispers, the stranger looked up and my hearing was correct, it was lordminnion777, aka: wade.

" Mark?" Wade whispered back as they stared at each other like it wasn't real, like this is a dream. wait- wait! I turned back to the television and watched as the lady flinched to the footage showing youtubers being hanged in the gallows, but then put on a fake smile as she continued talking to a man at the scene. ' - yes, in fact to answer your question, a youtuber has escaped the gallows and is now on the run from the police.'

who escaped? and how? I glanced to the three youtubers in the ally and then walked to them. " Guys" I say with my head down and leaning against the brick wall.

" What?" ken asked.

" A youtuber escaped the gallows, but I have no idea what there name is." I say and watch his face fill with hope. " What?" I asked as ken had a grin spread across his face. I glanced to the other two, mark had a grin and wade just kept his head down.

" What is it? Wade" I say as he looked up and stared at me, I stared back, not looking away until he said:

" I was the one that escaped"
