-few days later-
"Jake?" I called out to the line of people in front of me, they were in prison chains, I glanced ahead of me and saw the gallows. I was about to step towards it but a voice said
"Hey your not suppose to be back here" the male voice called and grabbed me roughly by my left arm.
"Nononono, where am I?" I ask him as he shoves me into the crowed of bystanders.
"Your in your worst nightmare, sweetheart" the guy said before walking up to the next person in line with prison chains. what? no I watched him bring the person up to the stage and put the noose around him. it wasn't until the noose was around his neck, it was then I recognized him. Jake.
" Jake!" I called out without thinking, and saw everybody turn towards me.
" Hey that's Maya!" a random voice said before another cut him off
"Get her!" the voice yelled and suddenly I was grabbed by my left arm, good, I thought as I used my right arm to punch the guy. "Ow!" a voice cuts in, waking me up. I rub my eyes and open them.
"Entoan?" I sleeply ask and saw him rubbing his arm.
" The others want you in the room and saying stuff" he says and I look up at him with a confused look." They're gonna do option two and they want you to be saying stuff while they hack in" he says and I nod before he pulls me out of bed, I fell onto the concrete floor and before I could glare at entoan, he pulls me up and drags me into the next room.
"Hey, good morning Maya!" Ken yells happily. I nod and walk to the computer, Dan and Phil is working on.
" How is this going to work?" I ask as they don't look up from the screen
" Well, once the announcement's go on, hopefully we'll be in and you could speak." Phil answers and points to some headphones with a microphone. I nod with a sigh before turning around and walking into minx.
" So, what do you think of this?" minx asks and I shrug
" There's many things I think about this" I say and feel a tap on my shoulder, I turn around to see Phil holding the head phones, he hands them to me before saying the instructions " You put these on your head and when the three beeps sound, speak into the microphone" he says as I do as he says.
10:00 am
when the three beeps sounded I listened as the president said his usual routine.
" Good morning, America now please stand and repeat the rules-"
"Hello ladies and gentleman" I say and glance to the youtubers surrounding the radio. " I would like to say that I, Maya Stewart, is alive and well." I smile a little." That red spray painting word ' I'm still here' was, in fact, me" I grin as I hear the president frantically trying to get me off of the announcements. " Remember all those rules the government set up? oh how could you forget? well, what I'm trying to say is, break the rules because some rules are meant to be broken-"
" But would you agree, Maya, that some rules are meant to protect others?"
" But would you agree, president, that taking away peoples rights is wrong?" I counter back.
" Yes, but protecting our country over the sake of-"
"And hunting down youtubers so you wont have to fear being over thrown and many, many riots?" I ask.
"...Riots..."
"You fear being over thrown, so you restrict people, by making the rules."
"... I want... every officer in the united states to do everything in their power to capture Maya and return her in." the president says, I grin as I hear' but sir-' in the background. "NOW!!"
" Your sending every officer in the united states to capture a sixteen year old girl?" I say. there was silence before three beeps signaling that it was the end of the announcements.
