"Where's Yui?" Momo dared to ask.
Hotaru shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know ... She ran off."
"What do you mean?" Momo's eyebrows furrowed, "Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I didn't even get to finish my question before she ran off claiming that 'she's close'." Hotaru explained, "I don't even know what she meant."
"Well she's probably inside as well, but we have to go or else we'll get a tardy slip." Momo smiled, "I'm sure she knows what she's doing. Let's go."
" ... 'Kay."

As Hotaru waited for her next teacher to come into the classroom to teach, the vice principal had opened the door so hesitantly. His face was pale, and he didn't look like himself. His eyes were blankly staring up ahead of him without blinking. It was like he was in a day dream, lost in it. Finally, he turned his head and gaze directly at her, expression still emotionless.
"Tsukino, I need you at my office ... Now." His voice was robotic, adding to the possibility he had lost his humanity.
"I-I ... of course?" Hotaru was scared for herself, but she stood up anyway.
She automatically glanced over at Momo, who was also pretty freaked out by his actions. She smiled sympathetically at her and held a thumbs up, a signal for good luck. Hotaru wished good luck on herself as well.
On the way out of the door, Shizuka shot her a teasing smirk, which got her confused. What was up with her? Shizuka was never the nicest person to her or Momo. She assumed it was because they were potential rivals for her title as the best student in the grade, which they are. Like the last literature test they took, Shizuka got a higher grade than her by a mere point, and that was because Hotaru filled in the wrong bubble.
Ignoring her for the meantime, Hotaru closed the door behind, praying for her safety. She followed the vice principal through the empty and quiet hallway, keeping a good seven feet distance between them. Even his walk was odd. His feet moved at the exact same pace with the exact same movement. Truly perfect, truly inhuman.
When they finally arrived at his office he opened the door and stepped aside, "Please come in, there is someone who wishes to speak to you."
After a couple of seconds of not moving he repeated the exact same words, "Please come in, there is someone who wishes to speak to you."
Scared, she entered the office in a blink of an eye, that is also how long it took for him to close the door behind her.
A sweet shiver went down her spine when she heard that breathtaking voice.
"Hey."
Her eyes widened and blush appeared on her cheeks when she saw him sitting on the desk, staring right into her soul. He had the same bored face as usual, but something seemed different about him. The aura he gave off was kind of menacing or determined somehow.
"S-Shu!? What are you doing here?" Hotaru exclaimed.
Shu sighed, "There's been a change of plans. You're coming with me."
"What do you mean there's been a change of plans? And why should I go when our deal was --"
"That's what's changing." He stood up, "I thought about it, and it won't work out. Not with what Yui is planning on doing."
"Yui? What does she have to do with anything --"
Like always, he was fast and was in front of her in less than a second. She was about to fall when attempting to stand back, but he had caught her by the waist. By that time, Hotaru could no longer tell what was going on. She could only assume that the cold and soft lips pressed against her own, were Shu's.

Momo was really worried about Hotaru, since she still hasn't returned from the vice principal's office and it was already the end of the day. She decided that it wouldn't hurt to go see, what happened to her at his office, just to check. If she is still there, she'll just wait for her outside. But she wasn't sure what she'd do if she's not there.
She peeked inside the hole on the vice principal's office's door. It wasn't very big but she could still see that there was no one.
"Mrs. Hiragi, may I ask what are you doing?"
"Eep!" Momo stood up straight and turned around.
The vice principal had a stern look with one hand holding a cup of coffee and the other on his hip with his foot tapped on the squeaky clean floor.
"Oh um, I was just wondering of Hotaru was still there." Momo replied meekly, luckily, he was able to hear her.
"Why would Tsukino be in my office?"
"Because you called her here."
"I did?"
"Yeah, you came to our homeroom and asked for her. Everyone in the classroom saw you." She said.
"Then how come I don't remember?" He raised an eyebrow.
"I-I don't know. But you really did do it." Momo insisted.
He took one sip of his coffee, "If this is some kind of joke Hiragi ... I'm not laughing. Now get out of my way."

Momo held tightly onto the hem of her skirt tightly. She wanted to find her, but where should she start? Then something clicked in her mind. The mansion.
"Hey, Momo-chan." Yui appeared behind her and smirked, "Ready to see Ayato?"
"Yeah, I'm definitely ready."
***
Her arrival to the mansion was very similar like it was before, only this time Ayato was waiting right in front of the entrance for her. A smile appeared on his face when he saw her coming out of the limousine. It was so unbelievably quick how fast he managed to wrap his arms around her.
"You made it." He said with a hint of relief in his voice.
"Yeah, I told you I'd come." Momo shyly replied.
"I know but ... " He didn't know how to finish so he just kissed her in a yearningly way, hoping his actions would speak louder than any word he could say. Like the small amount of hours they've been away from each other were like years to him.
Momo gradually kissed back timidly, since Yui was there watching them.
Yui smiled, their relationship made her feel less guilty.
