Fallen Angel

Chapter two

As I walked to the edge I spread my wings and let myself soar in the sky once more before I had to go.
It felt good to let the wind hit my wings again.

As I flew I wondered what it would be like on earth. If some of the people were as mean as Malik said they would be or if the world had changed since he had been there.

Whatever the world was like I couldn't wait for it.

As i reached the gateway I noticed that a lot of Angels had shown up. Probably to try and see Gabriel.

When I finally landed I saw that there were three other people not including myself. I saw the archangel that had announced my mission to be one of them but I couldn't tell who the others were, for I was still very knew to being an angel in the first place.

" Jessica," said the archangel I remembered.

" Yes," I answered.

" This is Gabriel," he said as he extended his hand to the right of me.
I glanced at Gabriel to see that he did look as amazing as everyone said that he did.

He had tan skin with light blond hair and light blue eyes. It was almost hard to look away. But it usually was when you were looking at an archangel.

" And this is Raphael," he said as he extended his arm to my left this time.
Raphael look almost completely opposite with tan skin, dark brown hair, and light brown eyes. But he did look equally amazing as all archangels did.

" He will be joining you two as backup in case something bad were to happen,"
Both Gabriel and I nodded our heads in understanding.

" You will need to understand this mission in very difficult," said the archangel.

" What shall we be doing," said Raphael.

I guess he was as clueless as I was.

" As you should know there was a recent fall," he said. " But what we didn't tell you is that it was a leaders that fell. An archangel."

I felt me eyes widen. An archangel fell. How could that be. And not only an archangel but a leader archangel.

" Might I ask who fell?" I said out loud so he could definitely hear me.
" Michael."     

And with that everything froze. No one knew what to say. It was just so unexpected that almost everyone looked dazed.

Michael, the leader of the archangels fell!? How could that be. But before I could ask Gabriel cut me off.

" And what do you want us to do about our fallen brother?"

From the way he had said those words you would have expected him to be talking about an enemy not a close friend. It made me get goosebumps all down my arms.

" Because he was so powerful we think that he will be almost as powerful as a fallen as he was an angel," the archangel said." So to make sure the people on earth are safe we want you to kill Michael."

And with that he walked us to the gate and unlocked it.

I could see that he said something to Gabriel but I couldn't hear what it was.
Then all of the sudden the gate flew open and Raphael and Gabriel grabbed my hands and jumped out through the gates.
