I couldn't believe what Raphael just said. Michael had done this to him.
We didn't get to hear much but what we did was shocking.

Raphael had seen him in the building walking around looking for something when he felt a punch hit his cheek.

Michael had caught him he said that Michael had brought him up here and was about to do something when I had slowly started to open the door. He just guessed that Michael thought it was another guest leaving so he took off and left Raphael for the guest to find and report.

With that he shut up for a while and left us shocked and confused.

We all knew that Michael had fallen but we never expected him to hurt someone. At least I didn't.

I just didn't know what to do so I asked Gabriel for some cash to look around the city. He gave me 500 dollars for the day but said if anything were to happen to fly away as fast as possible.

I just nodded and left.

When I got to the front desk I noticed the man from before but he looked different. More alert.

When I passed him he turned at that moment and bumped into me, knocking his stuff into the floor.

Even though he gave me a bad feeling I did bend down to help him. As we picked up his stuff I looked up to catch him looking at me.

I just smiled and stood up as he did too.

" Here you go," I said.

" Thanks," he replied.

He said it so stiffly I wondered what his problem was but I just stood there.

" Hey do you know a good food place," I asked him.

He seemed to relax when he realized that I was just making small talk. He even seemed to smile.

" Actually I do," he said and with that we were off.

It took twenty minutes but we finally stopped walking when we reached a little diner.

It was a very small place for New York but I thought it was cute.

When we entered the man walked up to the register and said something to the front desk man. He then looked at me and grabbed to menus for the two of us and escorted us to a back table.

I liked that it was out of sight but you also couldn't see the exit so it also made me nervous. As I looked at the menu I glanced up to see him staring at me like I was a puzzle he couldn't solve. I just blushed and looked back down at my menu.

" So I didn't catch your name," I finally said to him.

" I'm Michael," he replied.

That was so strange I would have laughed but it also gave me chills up me spine.

" That's an interesting name," I said almost to myself.

" Are you going to tell me yours," he asked.

" Huh, ohh I'm Jessica," I said feeling stupid that I almost forgot my name.

" That's a lovely name," Michael said." Jessica."

For some reason I felt a tingle through my body when he pronounced my name. I liked it but I didn't know why.

I was about to say something when the waiter came to take our orders.

" The usual Mr. Michael," said the waiter.

" Yes," was his only reply before he glance to me so the waiter could take my order.

" I'll just have whatever he is having," I said.

" Alright so that will be-" he had started to say but Michael cut him off.

" Just put it on my tab," he said quickly.

I wondered what was going on with him. He was acting very strange but since I wasn't familiar with him I didn't know if he truly acting strange or not.
I just kept my mouth shut and waited for our orders.

As I waited I felt someone starring at me. As I looked around I saw it was just Michael. He had the same look as before but something made me more curious this time.

He looked like he was about to say something when our orders came.

When he put the food at our table he made himself gone in an instant. It was almost scary how fast he was gone.

When I looked down I realized what the waiter had brought us. In my glass I had red wine but on my plate I had a steak with potatoes and a salad.

It was a strange food setup but it was delicious.

I ended up eating all of it.

When we finished he escorted me out of the restaurant and walked with me a little while until we got to a park. As I glanced around I realize how much I didn't understand yet.

As I walked through I ended up finding myself sitting on a swing. I loved the wind in my hair. It makes me feel like I'm flying again.

Then I felt the swing slow down and two hands go on my shoulders, stopping the swing.

As I looked up my hazel eyes met the black eyes of Michael. When I saw him smile I smiled as well. For some reason I felt at home with him. That is probably why I trust him so much, even though I have no reason to trust him other than instinct.

As I stood up I felt him take my hand and start to walk me home.
